The location is beautiful. Off the beaten track. Myriam, her husband and daughter were extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival and departure - their English is very good. The villa provides everything you need as far as equipment is concerned. The village of Entrecasteaux is typically French with a few restaurants, bakery, butchers, homemade ice cream shop and only a 15/20 minute walk from the villa, however the walk is not for young children/pushchair or the infirm as there are many steps and a real climb back up to the villa. We went for a family holiday and it was perfect. The only downside were the mosquitoes. Make sure you have plenty of sprays/creams if you go late August.

Completely Amazing!

Like staying in a self catering 5 star hotel, the property is very well designed, beautifully decorated and incredibly well equipped. Private, peaceful and beautiful, precisely what we look for. The area is a peaceful gem for those who want to get away from the frantic city life, yet close enough to Saint Tropez or St Maxime, water parks, the Verdon Gourge and many more amazing sights.

Lovely home in a beautiful area.

Home rentals can sometimes be disappointing, with exaggerated photos, but this house is as immaculate and beautiful as it looks in the photos. It was exceptionally well equipped with pretty much every utensil you could need and a really good Weber gas bbq too. The pool is very warm and the air conditioning is effective and has individual controls for each room. With electric gates it felt very secure for the children playing outside and there is a surface pool alarm for younger children who can’t yet swim. Two bedrooms (one king, one with 2 single beds) and a bathroom with bath and separate large shower make up a separate downstairs suite. Secure locking shutters and very solid sliding doors provide very good security if you worry about putting children in downstairs bedrooms. There are two more bedrooms and bathroom facilities upstairs. There’s a great washing machine and a line for drying clothes. Our only suggestions for improvement: (1) more pillows; (2) some instructions for the oven, microwave and hob (which Myriam kindly explained but even so took a bit of remembering)!; (3) just a few dishwasher & washing machine tablets. Entrecasteaux is small but pretty with a nice bar and a couple of places to eat. We shopped for groceries at the Intermarché in Salernes and stocked up on wine in a couple of good local vineyards. We recommend Chateau Les Crostes. Myriam and Pascale were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Merci, Myriam and Pascale!
