The amenities were excellent - newly reno acted kitchen with top quality washer/dryer, dishwasher,stove, oven etc. The location was perfect. The host was quick to respond to any questions

Sadly, your apartment set the bar to high. I don't expect to stay anywhere that comes close to your property, on this trip. Thank you, we enjoyed it stay.

This is our second visit to the same apartment.

The apartment is ideally situated for us at end of the old town just three minutes walk from the coast and a myriad of excellent restaurants close by. Since our last visit the owners have upgraded the kitchen and there is now a full oven, dishwasher, and clothes washer/dryer. Which makes life easier!It is ideal for a couple to stay.

Already for some time I had the idea to upgrade my flat, so I took this opportunity to built a new kitchen and also renovate a part of the bath. Perfect little apartment.

I was extremely happy with this clean, well kept little apt. In the middle of it all. I could walk to many restaurants, ocean ,short walk to famous market and large grocery store just opposite the market. Could not have a better location Prepare for a little music noise Friday and Saturday night but you are away to feel the atmosphere so I enjoyed it.I would definitely return so I think that says it all,Francoise

One month in old part of Funchal

The description of the apartment is accurate. Ideal for us as it gave the option of some self catering and eating out. A month is too long to stay in an hotel whereas an apartment gives one flexibility. There are a myriad of excellent restaurants within a stone’s throw of the apartment. Our one comment on the kitchen equipment in the apartment is that it would have been nice to have an oven rather than just a microwave.

The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything you needed and more. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, i found it ideal. Close to restaurants and 2 small shops with most things you need. Not more 2 minutes walk, and cable car less than five. As described it was a bit noisy at weekend. But did not bother me, the only thing some people might not like was the lack of natural light. Basically only light from front door. This did not distract from enjoying my stay. I thought it was a excellent and would thoroughly recommend. The contact with Sonja was very good ,and replied promptly to all messages. I used Bolt to get from airport as it half the price of a taxi. This was also a good service ,just for info.

Alles war super. Die Lage ist echt mega. Wir haben auch sehr gute Möglichkeit das Auto zu parken, obwohl die Wohnung in der Mitte der Altstadt ist. Einzige was nicht soo perfekt war, sind die kleine Fenster. Leider konnte man nicht ausreichend lüften. Dafür hatten wir einen Ventilator an der Decke.Für das Geld ist diese Wohnung echt eine Empfehlung
