The property was perfect for us...a large family for a wedding week. The positives of the property way outweigh any shortcomings, but I will try to present a balanced review. The property is in a great location with outstanding outdoor space. The outdoor dining, grill and pool were perfect. Parking was a great plus once we realized the entry was right on the corner through a gate. The first impression was the garages on the backside of the house which would be near impossible to get into (but that is not the parking). As mentioned, the grocery store was a great benefit and we used it constantly,Everything was clean upon arrival. There was a bit of a small ant problem in one of the upstairs bedrooms, but a quick walk to the grocery store for some spray took care of it. The descriptions of the bedrooms didn't quite fit reality, but not an issue. Just to know, there is no 3rd floor bedroom. There are the 7 but 4 on the 2nd floor (usa language, and three on the 3rd. It was great having a private bath for each. Outside of the bedrooms, the inside living space didn't really work for us. A lot of space, but not really useable. The living room space is small (great for kids watching tv but not for a gathering), and the dining area is huge, but about the only space inside to gather around. Overall the furniture is a bit worn and could use some repair, but again not a show stopper. The Kitchen and prep area is huge, we just didn't need it.

This house exceeded our expectations. The house was bigger than the pictures and well suited for a group of friends on a holiday. Close to town and the grocery across the street was a real bonus. Highly recommend.

Great house in a great setting.

Great house in a great setting. A converted old hotel (I think). Spacious and charming. Perfect setting in the village and just across the street from a well-equipped supermarket. Beautiful garden and pool area. We were a company of 13. Highly recommended

Better use of the very large dining room would be as a sitting room. Due to the size of the room, it could still have a dining room table. Personally, one large dining room table at the hall end of the dining room would make better use of such a beautiful room.
Architectural Wisteria - Awesome
Fabulous pool and scenery.
Relaxing in the garden.
