Great place

This is a perfect place. It was clean, checking in and out was smooth. Communication with property manager was great and I can’t tell you enough that the location to everything was perfect. I highly recommend this property.

Barbados retreat 2023

Nice property. Good location, close to beach and restaurants. Very easy owners to deal with, any issues or questions were dealt with immediately.

hot and homey

- great location, close to the beach, close to the squash club, close to the many restaurants and close to essentials/food stores - second bedroom could do with some bed upgrades as our 2 (older) kids mentioned the beds were a bit uncomfortable

Wonderful!!!!

Cloud 9 was an awesome home to stay in!! The breeze between the two windows really was my favorite part! I could easily walk to the ocean and hear it from the home! Close to restraunts, buses, ocean, boardwalk, and quiet condominium home area! Clean home!!! Thank you for providing me a safe place to stay!!!!

Disappointing !!!!

Disappointing! The interior definitely shows it’s age:the stovetop did not work (we were offered a portable two-burner replacement)the oven is unusable because all the indications for temperature, etc. have been rubbed off over time. End result: don’t expect to cook anything seriousthe living room carpet was so badly stained we turned it over for the week so we wouldn’t have to look at itthere were 6 patio chairs; 4 wooden and 2 plastic. One of the wooden chairs was already broken when we arrived, and one of the plastic chairs disintegrated as soon as someone sat down in it. We set the other plastic chair aside, leaving us with 3 chairs. Fortunately we were only 3 people, but you get the idea.Communication with the owner was not easy. He offered a 10% refund but we considered it insufficient.

An unrepresentative review. The interior is modern and we constantly get good reviews on the feel and decor. We had a problem with the hob as it failed and until we were able to replace it we provided a 2 hob backup. Not ideal. A new hob is now installed and working. The oven works and we personally cooked several meals without any issues recently. The chair did break but it was just a year old. I don’t know why it failed. Since replaced as has the wooden chair been repaired. This person was after a discount and stopped talking after her initial complaint and did not respond to messages via WhatsApp etc.

Wonderful stay in Barbados

Property is perfectly located close to beach, restaurants and stores. The views were wonderful and sitting on the balcony enjoying the breeze was a great way to enjoy dinner. As long term renters (8 weeks) we would have liked the lounge furniture to be a bit more comfortable. The on site manager, Gwen was a great help to us and did some shopping before we arrived and also helped us with some minor issues throughout our stay. The property owner was great to deal with as well and was quick to respond. A wonderful place to spend our winter.

best in block

Lovely open plan living area which can also include the balcony. Modern kitchen but was rarely used as we ate out mostly. Local manager Gwen was very helpful and had good tips for our stay.

Been to Barbados 3 times and this was the best place yet. Will definitely be back.

Great location! Exactly as described including pictures. There were 4 of us (all adult) and we were very comfortable here. There was a fantastic breeze when you opened up the windows and patio doors. Apartment was well equipped and spacious. We will definitely be returning to Barbados and renting this appartment again. Both Gwen and the owner were a pleasure to deal with. Gwen even went to the supermarket for us before we arrived to have some basics in the fridge and we paid her for them once we were there. Honestly nothing bad to say!

Safe clean apartment close to beach and shops

We stayed 10 nights in this 2 be 2 bath apartment in Hastings. Checking in was quick. Gwen the manager met us at the gate. She was very helpful. The unit was clean and stocked with basic things we needed. It is close to a mall and beach lined with a long boardwalk. We recommend this unit to family and small group

Our Stay at Cloud 9

Had a great stay in Cloud 9. The apartment was well equipped and the location was excellent! One block off the Main Street and Boardwalk. Just about everything you'll need is within walking distance. Gwen was lovely and so helpful. In fact, she reminded us that she could've done more for us such as buying groceries before we arrived. When we come to back to Barbados we will definitely utilize her expertise more. She recommended a catamaran tour that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The condo was clean, bright and airy. No need for a/c when you open the windows and patio doors to catch the cross breezes. The pool was a great way to meet other condo renters. Families with children yet not overly noisy. The building is gated which requires you to enter a code so the building is very secure. Not that you have to worry about it very much. The Bajan people were very polite and helpful. Looking forward to returning to Barbados and when we do, cloud 9 is where we'll stay!

Excellent!

Very nice, clean and modern. Conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants, wine store, market, etc. I highly recommend it. Even my local friends who saw the unit will recommend it to other people coming to visit them in Barbados...

Great property in great location

We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at 9 Maple Gardens, it was very peaceful and quiet yet only a short stroll to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The location of the apartment within the resort is ideal and the resort is ideally located on the island . We found the property manager 'Gwen' most informative and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The only negative was the lack of sun loungers, which we were informed was due to theft, maybe our timing was just a little unfortunate and this will be rectified! In summary we would recommend your apartment to anybody planning to visit Barbados. Paul Stokes

Great location and accomodations were wonderful.

The unit is spacious, and well equipped with all the essentials. We were able to walk the boardwalk to beautiful beaches, great restaurants, nearby shopping, and get public transportation easily. However, this is a new rental and a few kinks need to be worked out. There was no Wi-Fi, phone, or television available at the time. Part of the group was trying to run some business while on vacation. The nearby coffee shop was able to accommodate us during business hours. In addition, the owners daughter was gracious enough to bring us a dongle that we were able to use for a short period of time. She helped us arrange a great sailing trip and gave us great recommendations. Besides the frustration of no Wi-Fi, phone or television, we had a great experience at the condo and would recommend it to others!

Stacy Thanks for the honest review. The WiFi was installed at the time of your stay, by the service provider had some issues with the fibre optics -- these were fixed after you left and now we have WiFi speeds at up to 50Mb(or that is what I am paying for at least). The TV (LIME TV)and internet speeds are now great since we tested them. No issues with subsequent guests. There is a local phone which works ( the phone was plugged into the incoorrect socket) Kerri
