A lovely location for peaceful walks or an afternoon of shopping.The cottage was beautifully prepared for myself and dog. A huge relief for any dog owner, the property is completely fenced in.Our host was very attentive and thoughtful to our needs. I would highly recommend this cottage for a wonderful escape!

This property was equipped with everything we needed, it was also comfortable and in a lovely location in the countryside. Good walks nearby and good food at the local pubs. Dealing with the heat was manageable by creating drafts between the windows back and front but the fan was needed most evenings.

Quiet rural location

Long wood cottage is a perfect retreat for families and dogs

Longwood cottage is a perfect place to relax and unwind . We loved our time here and Veronica is the perfect host, we were given a warm welcome and had a lovely holiday, we will definitely book again 😍

Longwood Cottage

We had a wonderful stay, lovely cottage in a beautiful location, lots to do in the local area, easy communication with hosts and we look forwards to going back next year.

Quiet and comfortable retreat

We enjoyed 3 nights in this well appointed and very clean cottage. Welcoming and helpful host. Lovely woodlands and surrounding countryside as well has all that Hereford as to offer.

After such a glorious Easter it was a pity the weather was so dreadful during your stay. Pleased you managed to relax and you did look really comfortable when I called. A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings

We spent a great long weekend here exploring many places of interest in the local area. A cosy, very comfortable and clean cottage with everything you need for your stay. Veronica was such a helpful and kind host.

Lovely clean cottage in a peaceful and relaxing location. Loved the private woods and the view. Would love to return in warmer weather and sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Veronica was amazing and supportive through a difficult time. Thanks for having us at your cottage

We have just returned home from a lovely break inbetween Christmas and New Year. Veronica was really welcoming and helpful, the cottage had everything we needed and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Such a relaxing break to get us ready for the new year at work. We will definately return for a summer break. Thanks for a fantastic stay xx

Great base for getting out and about

Totally rural and very peaceful, lots of wildlife. Easy access to M50 and then to lots of interesting towns and villages. Symonds Yat and Hay on Wye must be visited.

Spring weekend

Enjoyed a lovely spring weekend here. Loved having our own wood to walk in and large pond to watch the frogs swimming about in! Cottage very cosy with everything we needed in it. Beautuful peaceful area.

‘A perfect retreat’

We loved our stay at Sollers Hope. The cottage was perfect, as was the beautiful countryside. Adjoining the property is a private meadow, and wood…..just perfect for dogs and us. We will be going back that’s for sure.

Longwood cottage

The cottage is located in beautiful rural surroundings, very quiet and peaceful. It is well maintained and well appointed, clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and helpful.

Excellent all around

The whole stay was absolutely perfect, Veronica was an excellent host and we will definitely back again! The location of the cottage was amazing, stepping out onto the deck and all you can hear is the birds and the lambs. Couldn’t ask for anything else it was exactly as described

Perfect location

We visited with our 8 year old son and 2 dogs. The cottage was great. Garden is large and secure. We all loved our daily walks in the woods and the meadow - pure heaven for our dogs and our son. Veronica was a great host and we will definitely look to return.
