Hello Thank you for your excellent review and we are so pleased you had such a good time. We are lucky to have so many different things to do in the area but still be rural and have countryside walks on our doorstep as well as the big tourist destinations of Bath, Stone Henge and Longleat. We would certainly be very happy to welcome you back to stay again. With best wishes. Sarah and Mike

Hi Shirley Thank you for your review. I am sorry it was not 5 stars but I know the bathroom fan started being temperamental which fortunately should be fixed now. It was nice to meet you both and enjoy the rest of your travels. With best wishes. Sarah

Dear Peter Thank you for your review although I found it disappointing. When I met and welcomed you, you both seemed very happy with the cottage and did not mention any of the things you have mentioned in your review. I will check the toaster but it was working for the last guests so I am not sure why you were having problems. I admit the door does stick a little as it is a wood door and swells a little when it is wet. It is certainly not a safety issue though. The cottage is cosy and homely. The decor is not meant to be blingy and ultra modern as it is a rural barn conversion. I disagree that it needs updating and all our previous guests seem to love the cottage as it is. The cottage is sited on a farm and the surrounding area, although very pretty and well maintained is not manicured and pristine. We benefit from an amazing amount of bird life and wildlife which our caravan and cottage guests love to observe. You wrote nice comments in our Visitors book and despite the comments in the review it sounds like you had a lovely stay. With best wishes. Sarah and Mike

Hi Kim I was sorry to see that you only gave us 4 stars as We did sort out the internet for you during your stay using an adaptor which I think worked quite well. However, I am pleased to say the internet is back to working normally after its little blip and no problems since. The other good news is that The Mill pub is due to open again in August so we will have two pubs to be able to walk to again. Hopefully we will see you again and earn those 5 stars as normally the internet is problem free. Many thanks and best wishes. Mike and Sarah

Dear Todd Thank you so much for finding the time in your busy schedule to write such a detailed and excellent review. It was lovely to meet you and have a chat and we are pleased you enjoyed the cottage so much and found it so comfortable. You and your partner would be more than welcome to come and stay again. There certainly is lots to see and do in the area aside from Bath. Come again in the Spring or Summer when the farm is looking at its best! Thank you again and best wishes. Sarah and Mike

Hi Erick Thank you very much for such an excellent review. It was really lovely to meet you and your partner and your friends as well. You all seemed so nice and it was a shame we did not manage to chat to you again. We are so glad you enjoyed the cottage and your stay with us and that your visit into Bath worked out really well. We would be delighted to have you stay with us again if you are ever back in the UK. With best wishes. Sarah and Mike

Hello It was good to meet you and your partner. It was a disappointing review you gave us even though you did appear to like the cottage and certainly did not say anything to us. I think you were probably just guests in the wrong environment and being from abroad maybe not able to make the most of what is actually a beautiful part of the world. It is quite rural here with National Trust properties to visit, country side walks and local market towns to browse around in as well of course visiting the beautiful City of Bath. However, I think you were after the bright lights of a big city which we are not. The village is old and pretty and though people generally love it I guess it is not for guests seeking a city experience. A shame but never mind. With best wishes. Sarah and Mike
