I fail to understand what the guests complaint is here and at a loss at what they expected in the way of décor and furnishings. . The cottage has been decorated in willow green emulsion paint in the last two years. There is more than adequate lights and lamps to illuminate the sitting room. The weather during their stay was warm and sunny. But they failed to use the patio area which is equipped with new furnishing this years. Which would maybe have lightened their depression. We have been letting out Apple Tree Cottage for many years, with quite a few return bookings. This is the first time that this type of complaint has been raised. Yours mystified.

Thank you Helen for your review of Apple Tree Cottage. It was good to have seen you again this year. A couple of points I would like to make for any prospective guest reading this.. With Covid protocol in place, it is advise that consumable items like milk, coffee, tea etc are not placed in the cottage for incoming quests. The trains (1 up and 1 down) pass through the village every hour from around 6 in the morning to midnight and have been one of the 'joys' of living/staying in Bradford Abbas for many a long year. Car parking in recent times it has become easier to entry and exit by the top entrance with a large car as Grope Lane has been slight widened at this point.
