Thank you for your review . No dishwasher as per the property description you received . Bed is a double bed. It is of a normal standard uk double bed size . This is also stipulated on the description you received . Re eco products ( we try where possible to provide them ) Unfortunately guests leave products and rather than dispose of them we try not to waste them . You have left many non eco products at the property . Unclear why . On the eco theme , we have now discovered that you have not recycled any of your waste as per our polite request . Everything has been double bagged in heavy duty bags and disposed of in one grey landfill bin. We ask guests to recycle as per council guidelines . There are multi angle photos of the kitchen and living areas on description you received . No issues previously with lack of surface space . We take great care to make sure our kitchen equipment is washed thoroughly . We apologise if anything was missed . Our bathroom upstairs has 2 taps - one for hot water and one for cold . A mixer is not necessary. Yes the plug has been removed to prevent flooding ( previous occurrence) There is a second bathroom downstairs with plug which can be used )There are 3 mirrors in upstairs including a moveable “shaving “mirror. We are sorry the house did not suit your particular needs . We try our best to provide a wonderful place to stay and this is reflected in the many 5 star reviews we have received .

Thanks for your review Franz . Glad you both enjoyed the cottage and surrounding area . Yes it can be lacking in light but in the summer we do have the conservatory which is a lovely place to sit . Unfortunately the houses that were built in the 18th century tended to have very thick walls and small windows - part of the charm I suppose. We cannot have the heating on continuously regretfully due to the current energy crisis(our heating costs would be astronomical and we do not wish to pass these on to our guests) but the range cooker keeps the chill off and the central heating can be put on for periods of up to 3 hours whenever required and heats the house reasonably quickly. Certainly in summer it’s never an issue . Thanks again .

Thanks for your review .glad you enjoyed the eclectic character of the cottage We ask in our instructions that the cooker temperature and settings are not altered in any way . Unfortunately you had changed the temperatures of the oven and hob . So we are sorry if this caused you a problem.
