Very well located

The flat is located in a strategic place, 10 minutes by walking from the harbour (no need to use the car during the all week) with an amazing view on Como lake. Suggestion would be additional furniture (equipment for cooking). We recommand !

Nur für Gehörlose! Geht gar nicht...

Theoretisch nette und gemütliche Unterkunft mit herrlichem Ausblick.Ausstattung Küche etwas dürftig.Das vordere Schlafzimmer hell, mit traumhaftem Ausblick und Balkon. Das hintere dagegen ein dunkles Loch ohne Tageslichtfenster!Auf keinen Fall Julie Webb in WhatsApp aufnehmen: es gibt ständig ungefragte Hinweise, Verbote und Anordnungen von ihr: kein Geschirr am Pool, Müllentsorgung... Als die schöne Poolbeleuchtung ausfiel, kam der lapidare Hinweis, dass Baden im Pool nachts verboten sei; repariert wurde nicht.Wir (50 und 60 Jahre alt mit 2 Teenies) nutzen seit 20 Jahren Ferienhäuser und -wohnungen; hier fühlten wir uns behandelt wie eine Gruppe 14-jähriger potentieller Randalierer!Von all dem mal abgesehen: was sich nicht einfach weglächeln lässt, ist der Tag und Nacht (!) über die Straße vor der Terrasse (s. Foto) hindonnernde Pkw-, Lkw- und Motorradverkehr (!)! Die Serpentinen ins Val dintelvi haben hier eine Gerade, auf der alle, vor allem die Biker, mal kräftig aufdrehen und überholen. Und das fast ununterbrochen, Tag und Nacht!Morgens wacht man wie gerädert auf; Fenster schließen geht nicht bei der Hitze, Klimaanlage muss separat bezahlt werden!!!Ein unauflösbarer Konflikt, jegliche Erholung ist so völlig ausgeschlossen.Was kann der Vermieter tun? - den ziemlich happigen Preis DRASTISCH senken! Denn so ist die Unterkunft völlig inakzeptabel. Ich denke, dass absolut kein Gast ein zweites Mal hierhin zurückkehrt.Zum Glück nur 6 Tage für uns: nie wieder!

Thankyou for your comments.The road to access is illustrated on the advert. During the evening traffic is reduced. Guests are required to remove waste on departure for recycling as confirmed at the time of reservation.

Die FeWo ist sehr schön der Ausblick ist fantastisch Aber die Lage Direkt vor der Fewo ist die Straße, welche sehr stark befahren ist und dadurch ist es sehr laut.

Super Urlaub in Argegno

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in toller Lage mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf den See, Wohnung sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet (auch die Küche) sehr schöner Pool, es war leider etwas kühl in der Wohnung und der Lärm der Straße war ab morgens störend. Aber alles in allem war es eine super Wohnung und wir werden wiederkommen. Auch die Kommunikation mit Julie war gut.

Modernes Appartement mit tollem Ausblick,

Schönes zweistöckiges Appartment mit Balkon und Terrasse, sensationeller Blick, aber etwas Verkehrslärm (aber das gehört zum Comer See dazu), nach dem Apererif im Ortskern muss man einen 10 minütigen Aufstieg bedenken, für uns aber alles super

Tolle Wohnung mit Seeblick

Die Wohnung entspricht insgesamt den Erwartungen. Neben den Schlafzimmern gibt es sogar einen weiteren Raum mit Sofa. Der Blick von der Terrasse und vom Balkon ist unglaublich. Den Stern Abzug gibt es für die Verkehrsgeräusche der Straße, die direkt am Grundstück verläuft und für die Tatsache, dass nur in einem Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage installiert ist.

mooi appartement met enige minpunt airco.

leuk appartement en prachtig zicht op het meer. min punt was zeker de airco, apart bij te betalen en slechts op 1 enkele kamer. Kinderen hebben op hun kamer een ventilator maar helpt eigenlijk niet. In de zomermaanden onvoldoende om comfortabel te vertoeven en te slapen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in Argegno. Toller Kontakt. Einige kleine Einschränkungen gab es allerdings. Die Klimaanlage kostet noch einmal extra. Leider war die eine Duschkabine defekt und die Lampe auf der kleineren Terrasse war herausgerissen. Da wir nur zu dritt waren, störte uns das nur wenig. Die Straße ist tatsächlich sehr laut, aber das wurde ja schon mehrfach beschrieben.

Tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Tolle Aussicht auf den Comersee. Sehr nette Betreuung vor Ort durch das Management (Julie). Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die unter der Anlage vorbeiführende Strasse, die sehr befahren und dadurch laut ist.

LAKE COMO

The apartment was very clean, tiny and supplied with everything. New sponges & rubber gloves for doing dishes. Ice trays for our limoncello! It suited the four adults, that stayed there. It was a good central location for taking the boats or driving up the mountains. We were delayed on arriving, but communicated well with the owner, who came to meet us. Grazie

Sehr schönes Appartement mit tollem Ausblick

Das Appartement war sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber und bot einen herrlichen Blick auf den Comer See. Lediglich der Straßenverkehr und der etwas steile Anstieg zum Appartement waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Kontakt mit dem Verwalter war problemlos und wir haben auch noch sehr gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt erhalten.

Superb location & Facilities

The property is perfect for a holiday for a couple or a small family (we travelled with a 1 year old), all facilities you could need are available and modern in style, from pool to coffee machine! The view is amazing - perfect view of the lake and within no more than a 7-8 minute walk (although slightly steep on the way up) down a safe path. The village is nice and quiet with plentiful restaurants (and naturally a place for Gelato) and has a small boat dock where you can take day trips to other places around Como Parking easily available undercover Highly recommended

Perfect Trip

We had our honeymoon here. The hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable. We loved staying in Argegno. We visited other towns by ferry and the greenway (walking trail through some towns near Argegno) and we felt as though Argegno had then perfect Italian charm. Everyone in town was so kind, and lots of restaurants to choose from. We had bad weather (50s and rain) and we still loved the property. The views are stunning no matter the weather. It is quite the hike to walk from the home, but there is plenty of parking if you have your own car. (We walked and were fine)

Just Stunning

Both the views and the apartment. We stayed for 4 nights in May 2019. The location was wonderful with lots of local places to eat. The closest grocery store is in Lenno. We had a car but I really do not believe you need one. There is both bus and boat public transportation. We visited many places on the lake as well as Milan from this location. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen and was very very clean. The electric blinds are great! The view is incredible, the pictures do not do it justice.

Appartement très confortable et très bien placé

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement. Tout le confort est là pour passer une belle semaine de vacances. Il ne manquait rien. La terrasse très agréable avec une belle vue sur le lac, la piscine également. L'appartement est très bien situé à Argegno : emplacement idéal pour visiter et aller sillonner les villages du lac. Seul petit bémol : la route en dessous est assez passante. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer une très bonne semaine. Je recommande cette location sans problèmes

Perfect find, glorious views, amazing pool

Wonderful views of the lake, comfortable, clean, modern with everything we needed on hand. Even better than website pictures! Gorgeous pool which changes colour at night, four sun loungers for this apartment and we had hardly anyone else using it during our entire stay. Pool was generally 28 degrees Celsius every day which was the same temperature as the lake. It's a 5 minute walk down the hill to Argegno's main square and restaurants, a 2 minute drive, 10 minutes slow walk to Pigra cable car station and Turati boat hire, both were amazing and we highly recommend. The bus to Como is 100m down the hill from the apartment and drops off again up the hill slightly further up, so a breeze if you want to use it to go to Como or to Milan by train. You can also just get the bus from the main square and buy a ticket onboard. The C20 takes you straight to the Como train station. We noticed another review mention road noise, yes sometimes there is a bit of road noise but seriously this did not bother us in the middle of tourist season - the windows are triple glazed and the outstanding views, great pool and convenience of a short walk to the village far outweighed any noise concerns for us. Plenty of room to watch the views and lake activity with a local wine - there are two balconies, one on the first level with direct views of the lake and the other off the side with a view of the pool. Downstairs the table and 4 chairs are great with the sunshade opened out - a must in the middle of summer as it was seriously hot when we were there. The air conditioning unit in the upstairs front bedroom was fabulous and the rest of the apartment had plenty of fans as well to keep us cool. Too many great restaurants to recommend but there are cards left in the apartment of a few suburb ones, including a couple up the hill 10 minutes by car. Switzerland 40 mins over the hill to Lugano or 35 minutes back towards Como to Fox Town for outlet shopping. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to Barrie and Julie for making our stay so welcoming.

Schönes Appartement

Das Appartement hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles modern und sehr schön eingerichtet. 2 zusätzliche Liegen wären schön, wenn alle 4 Personen den großen Swimmingpool nutzen möchten. Gestört hat uns der Verkehrslärm, der von der direkt unterhalb vorbeiführenden, relativ viel befahrenen Straße, kommt.

Beautiful apartment in a terrific location

Really wonderful stay - apartment is well equipped and comfortable (although would really benefit from air conditioning throughout the warmer months). Argegno is a lovely village on the lake with all basic needs covered and providing easy access to the other towns on the lake via road and boat.

Dolce Vita in Argegno

Our wonderful short break started with that we arrived much to early in Argengo. Family Webb, the manager of the apartment, were so nice and let us move in the apartment earlier. We felt comfortable from the first moment. Location and view are overwhelming, the apartment well-kept and tastefully furnished. What impressed me first was the fact that the pictures provided on the Internet gave an excellent impression of the apartment. Nothing “faked”, all real. The apartment has a very nice swimming pool, which we used every day. After a small rest, we explored the surroundings together in the afternoon. Within a short 5-10 min walk we arrived in the City of Argegeno. There you can find some fine restaurants, even some where they serve glutenfree Pasta and Pizza, what my kids loved. We slept very well. Towels were available in sufficient quantity. Free parking in the garage was possible. Internet / WIFI worked without problems. I would particularly like to stress the willingness of the managers. They always attended us with good advice and gave us an unforgettable holiday. We have rarely experienced such a good and friendly service. We can recommend this apartment without any hesitation and will certainly back again! Thank you Family Webb!

Light, airy v.good condition Apartment.

The property is in very good condition, comfortable and clean. The shared pool was unheated but we used and enjoyed it on a hot day, a bonus. The management was efficient and available, they kept in touch with us during our stay, checking that everything was in good order, specially after a big storm.

Fantastic find!

We stayed here last summer as part of a family wedding and had a wonderful time. Argegno is a hidden gem full of character and charm living amongst the locals it had a unique feel about the village we did not find anywhere else on the lake! There is all you need here, ferry, lido for sunbathing, restaurants, bars, shops, wine and coffee bars and mountain cable car. The villa it must be said is exactly as advertised and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony every morning and dinner on the terrace under the stars, simply bliss! The pool we had to ourselves as the other homes have not been sold and the only other owner uses the home sparingly as a second home i understand so it was like having our own private villa for the cost of an apartment. We will definitely return.

Argegno Christmas stay Fantastic Apartment

Stayed in this brand new, modern apartment for the Christmas period. Underfloor heating was perfect after coming back in from the winter weather which made the apartment very warm and comfortable. Great beds and showers. Ultra-fast broadband was great and the ability to live stream from the smart TV ideal for on-demand programmes. Kitchen is well set up with everything we needed to cook and eat in if desired and there is the option of two coffee makers. The washing machine / dryer was ideal for our stay. Views of the lake are fantastic from the downstairs and upstairs balconies and we were able to sit out and enjoy the winter sun and watch the ferries go by with a glass of wine. The sun streamed into the apartment. The village down below is traditional and really quaint with good restaurants, wine shops, pharmacy, grocer etc. and was a short walk down the hill which took us straight into the village square, another 5 minutes or so longer back up the hill after eating and drinking great food and wine. The pool looked inviting even in winter but we will have to save our review of that until our next visit. The pool is solar heated in season to always be warm! The complex has a couple of large common grass areas too so would be great in summer to lie out there then head into the pool. Parking directly under the complex is perfect as is the lift directly by the designated car park which we used to get our bags up into the room rather than using the stairs. The cable car, lakeside Lido and trip over the hill into Switzerland are a must do and then there’s the rest of the amazing lake to explore! Overall thanks for a wonderful stay - hassle free key collection and meet and greet, ideal location and perfect apartment for our Winter Italian holiday! We hope to be back.
