I am very sorry to read such a negative and inaccurate judgment. Only one day the work started at 6.00, as soon as you reported it I did everything possible to prevent it from happening, talking to the builder, the property, the local police and even the mayor. And you reassured me on the second day with a message telling me that there were noises but they were minor and that they always ended by 2.30pm.  The sounds of the pneumatic hammer that you quoted NOW have never been in your presence since the excavation had already been done in July at the beginning of the construction site. We are very keen to rest, to welcome, and to make our guests' holidays pleasant and I very much regret not having succeeded with you, I had not warned you before about possible noises as I had been guaranteed a stop of the works from 5 to August 15, instead, bad luck for me and for you, they lasted until August 9 and then suspended. I also want to clarify that the site will end by 30 April 2019 because the property will live there from May. It is also inaccurate to define the works "next door", Villa Siena is located in a 3000-meter garden, and the new building stands in an olive grove of 8000 meters.

Good morning Gemma, I am very sorry that you did not fully appreciate your stay in Puglia. In fact that week was exceptionally hot (40 degrees) and the temperature in the house could not go down to 18° as requested and desired. The house has three porches, you could simply move the table to the more shaded porch if the 9 am sun bothered you for breakfast, I love it. In an email at the time of booking I gave you all the useful details of the house and explained that there is often a strong wind and therefore umbrellas larger than the one provided are dangerous.
