This is lovely cottage where the hosts have thought if everything to make your stay comfortable, from tea, coffee, and cookies, to board games and picnic blankets. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There is plenty of seating for everyone in the living room, kitchen, and the garden. The garden is great for active children—and adults—and great for squirrel and partridge spotting. There is a lovely little coffee shop/farm market less than a mile away, supermarkets within a 10 minute drive and beaches only 15-20 minutes away. There is a huge variety of things to do in the area—walking trails, boat trips, historical sites—literally something from everyone. We would definitely recommend this cottage!

We had a wonderful time in this quaint cottage. Sadly, our 3-day long stay was too short. Comfortable beds, calm, fresh decor and well stocked kitchen. The old farmhouse has an interesting history with architectural features that are unusual. Good base for cycling and enjoyable country walks. We'll come back. Not far from important places to visit.

Clean and well-equipped with all amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. A nice south-facing patio area to enjoy the warm sun. Near enough to the nearest town to make shopping easy but very much a rural spot with some narrow country roads to navigate. Perfect location for us as birdwatchers, being not far from Minsmere but good for the coast too.

Perfect cottage to watch spring unfold, set in beautiful Suffolk countryside. Good base for easy drive to the sea or Forrest. The house was super clean and well appointed with all amenities, good kitchen with all equipment plus appreciated the hairdryer and mirror next to electrical socket. Thoughtful and caring vibe, comfortable and a perfect hideaway from the city. Thank you.

Property is in an excellent quiet location. It's location means it is easy to get to various Suffolk beaches. The property has everything that you would require for your stay. It is very clean, roomy and has good cooking facilities.. Our host was very good at communicating with us and gave us plenty of ideas of places to visit.

The property was very well located for our cycling holiday The facilities were excellent and very clean The property is close to several local places to visit including Southwold We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning to revisit in 2025

The Cottage had everything you needed. Like walking into your own home. All rooms well equipped and comfortable to be in. Cottage position excellent. Peace and quiet and central for many places to visit.

Lovely place to stay

My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay in Rubblestone Cottage. It is very well equipped and nicely located for accessing the Suffolk Coast. The property itself is also in a very peaceful location.

Family get away

The little cottage was perfectly located for our day trips, the cottage was in a very peaceful location. Overall this property was ideal for the rest and relaxation after a busy day.

A delightful return to East Suffolk

In our brief visit we enjoyed two concerts at Snape Maltings, visits to Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, and Orford for a wonderful fish lunch at Pinney's.Rubblestone Cottage was an ideal base and everything possible seemed to have been thought of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Six nights at Rubblestone Cottage

The cottage is very clean, tidy and cosy, it was perfect for our needs. The garden is beautiful and I loved an early morning coffee outside with the moorhens. Our host, Caroline was friendly and very helpful, her parents at the main house were great too! I would definitely recommend staying here, the peace and quiet is wonderful, I'd hope to visit again.

Location of the property is stunning. So quiet and peaceful. Waking up to seeing hay bales and grouses was delightful. Owner is very helpful and corporative. Hilda and Frank were so lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We loved walking along the foot paths in the area. Highly recommend to anyone.
