Hello there ! We have consistent POWER AND WATER . Green Turtle Cay's biggest headache since Hurricane Dorian has been the regular interruption of power and water. Our property has reliability of both with an automatic stand by CAT generator and a large existing rain water cistern . We have done many of the repairs since Hurricane Dorian and the APT. is available for rent with all services functioning now : power, cable tv, 45" tv screen, WiFi, water, A/C , and propane cooking.

The APT. is a 450 sq. ft. , 1 bedroom Garden Apartment located on the ground floor of our 2 story house with it's own private driveway and entrance. It is a short walk from the Shipyard so is also ideal for anyone working on their boat. There is a public dock nearby in Black Sound to tie up a small boat . The rental is a stone's throw from a beautiful long and interesting beach with a snorkelling reef when the sea is calm .

Located midway on Green Turtle Cay it is only a 10-15 minute golf cart ride to anything on the island . Clean and bright it is ideal for those on a budget looking for privacy or wanting some local contact . Sorry to say but NO SMOKING allowed on the property.

Amazing stay in Green Turtle Cay!

We had the best time in Green Turtle Cay! Mandy’s place was perfect! It had everything we needed, from beach chairs, to coffee! The location is perfect too! A mile and a half to town and a mile and a half up north! We will definitely be staying with Mandy again!

Loved staying here. Had everything you could think of. Owners are fabulous people, helpful, friendly! Property is beautiful inside and out! Also really quiet. So close to Ocean Beach. Would absolutely stay here again.

Honeymoon House Vacation

We loved renting from Mandy and highly recommend her. She was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Her House was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we really needed. We definitely will be renting from her again.

Green Turtle Cay

Super cute property and just steps from the ocean. The house is located mid way to town and to Green Turtle Club, making it the perfect location. The owner, Mandy, was very helpful in answering any questions that I had and giving suggestions for things to do on the island. II will definitely stay here again!

One of the best in my experience. Mandy was very friendly. Met us at the dock with golf cart to take us to the rental. Very nice personality. Accomodations were wonderful. Very clean, good, hot showers, comfortable, clean bed. Perfect size for couple. Clean, nice kitchen with gas stove. Location is nice. Short 2-3 minute walk to beach with nobody on it. Was easy and nice to take late afternoon dip. Will definitely stay there again.

Such a lovely guest space

Mandy & Dale could not have been more accommodating! Super friendly, great space that my family & I thoroughly enjoyed. The bed is very comfy & fridge/freezer worked great! We loved having a full kitchen :) We will definitely rent again!

Words cannot describe the time we had on Green Turtle Cay. It started with Mandy! She was everything you could hope for in a host. Always available, full of information and answers to all our questions. The suite was perfect! It has all the essentials you needed, clean, bright, comfortable. Beautiful and cozy

We love our stay. The apartment was beautiful and very relaxing to stay in. It was very well equipped for cooking and daily meal prep. The proximity to the beach so so convenient and we ended each day with a nice beach walk. We would stay again for sure!

Bright, cheery and comfortable place to enjoy your Island Experience !!!

The pictures don't really do it justice as the apartment is clean, bright and well decorated. It seemed to be the perfect location on the Island for us just far enough from New Plymouth and close to the beaches we enjoy most. Not that far away from the north end if you want to go to Coco Bay. Mandy is a wonderful host, easy to talk to and a wealth of information. She has thought of most potential needs and the apartment is appointed well to make your stay comfortable. Lots of things have been left by previous visitors that will keep you from having to buy those incidental items you forgot. There is a good library and you can glean some information on various business's on the Island from a look through the journal there. For us, a mature couple the apartment size was more than adequate. I could see it stretching to hold a couple of small children too. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back possibly !!!

Perfect and peaceful

What a great spot. Close to town but away enough for quiet. The porch was my breakfast spot every morning. Dale and Mandy were great hosts. There if you need them and quick to offer help and advice. If anyone is traveling solo I would highly recommend. Safe place to stay and a safe community to vacation and explore in. I hope to be back soon!

Fantastic trip

Turquoise Sea Suite was the perfect place for us. It's beautiful inside and out, you don't need to bring anything but your clothes. Mandy and Dale are wonderful hosts, the fresh bread and beers on arrival were very much appreciated. The beautiful beach is just down the street. Green Turtle Cay is a great little island with so much to do or to just relax. We will definitely be back.

Lovely property with everything we needed

The guest quarters is spacious and has everything we needed to cook meals there. This is less necessary than it was at Treasure Cay where there were hardly any restaurants . But eating out every meal could easily cost $150/day for two people here. We spent $74 for lunch at pineapples. Mandy was very helpful reserving a golf cart for us and even having her husband pick up frozen pineapple and bread for us in Marsh Harbour. If you like the thought of having every beach to yourself most days, go during the last 2 weeks of July! It was incredible.

Already Planning a Return Trip

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It provided a private, comfortable base to enjoy Green Turtle Cay. The furnishings were great, but I was most impressed with the thought they put into other items. We enjoyed the new beach chairs and small coolers on our day trips around the island. It's described as a two minute walk, but you can be on the beach in half that time and never see another person. Mandy went above and beyond to maximize our stay. It was easily the best experience I've had renting through VRBO.

I am a Canadian married to a local Green Turtle Crawfisherman . I met Dale while cruising the Abaco's back in the early 1990's . We built our 2 story home and raised 2 boys, living a simple but fulfilling life surrounded by this beautiful small island community , close to the sea with all the beauty it holds. We are more than happy to impart local knowledge to make your stay the best it can be .

Dale's roots are in Green Turtle Cay , his paternal side goes back to the Loyalists , and his family still lives here . We picked this location to build because it is located in the middle of the Island , close to the beach, quieter than Town and yet close to everything in either direction. Our extended family run the Shipyard down the road.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The Suite is an affordable , cosy one bedroom 450 sq. ft. apartment for NON SMOKERS , located on the ground floor of our home but with PRIVACY of it's own and surrounded by trees . We live upstairs on the opposite side of the house , seem to work all the time (Lol) , but are certainly on hand to chat with , help you with any queries , problems , advice or local knowledge to make your stay enjoyable .
