The cabin had more than you need for a few nights away fishing and exploring.kitchen was easy to use,shower was hot and bed was comfortable.this place in is a beautiful location and only a minutes walk to the waters edge.Gregor the host was absolutely spot on with communication,check in and basically he had everything covered for our stay. Lovely place, perfect for purpose. Sit in, sit out, plenty walks in the area or have a bbq. The host very friendly. Highly recommend!

Location good for walks in the local area and access to the loch for kayaking. Community Pub and cafe a stroll away, both serving food. Bus stop on site.

Nice cabin situated in a nice spot next to the Loch. Furniture in need of a bit of an update but was adequate. Unfortunately it rained almost all week but there was decking and seating which would have been lovely to sit out and admire the scenery. Thourghly enjoyed our stay despite the weather

Loved the comfy, clean cabin which was surrounded by a spacious garden with lovely plants. Gregor encouraged us to help ourselves to any fruit on the bushes and peas which were growing at the time. We enjoyed sitting round the huge outdoor fire bowl at night, barbecuing, followed by a fire (the Wild Rowan shop sold bags of logs).The deck area was huge and had plenty of outdoor furniture and a view of the loch. There were steps down to the beach directly across from the cabin and we swam in the loch most days. We will be back and I would recommend cabin 16 Duart for a holiday or short break at any time of the year.

Gregor the host was very friendly and approachable. The setting was beautiful, the cabin was cosy and had everything we needed. However the double bed would benefit from a mattress topper, the bunks were comfortable.

First time staying in a cabin we really enjoyed it. Was situated in a lovely spot next to lock

The cabin was very nice cosy had everything we needed, was nice and clean, and beautiful surroundings, would definitely look at staying for longer.

Another great stay

2nd time I've stayed here. Gregor is a great host, and the cabin is very well kitted out. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cabin and location

We arrived to the cosy cabin to find the it well equipped and warm and welcoming. Our host Gregor was lovely too. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings were beautiful too. We would definitely take a break here again

Just what we needed

Lovely relaxing weekend , cabin was nice and clean, host was attentive and locals were lovely when we visited the social club cheering my newly 18yr old into buying her first ever round at the bar lol. Cant wait to visit again

We really enjoyed staying at the Duart and would highly recommend it. Sitting on the balcony with a lovely view of Loch Awe was so peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed, the only slight downfall was the lack of WiFi for the kids but this would not put us of returning. The check in was great as the cabin was ready slightly earlier than planned which suited us and was helpful to know the host was on hand if we needed anything.

Great host, 3rd time staying. Outside decking has been totally overhauled, should probably update the profile pic to reflect it, big improvement! Kitchen well kitted out, could do with a sieve though.

The location of this cabin is perfect it's right on the Loch front, walking distance to a lovely forest walk and waterfalls. The little shop and social club/bar restaurant are in walking distance. This cabin is one of the smaller ones but it had everything we needed it was very homley and cozy and the host is just the lovliest guy.

Brilliant location, the cabin had everything required for a short stay, longer stay, if on your own or in a group, very well named being the cosy cabin, went there to relax and switch off for a bit and that's what i got, would recommend.
