Comfy seating in lounge areas, kitchen was quite cold but plenty of space Bedrooms were fine beds could do with firmer mattresses but that is our preference.Had a lovely stay.

Beautiful clean historic property. Very large place with multiple seating areas. Bedrooms were big and nice touch with the fresh bread, jelly & muffins. The location at the top of the hill made it quiet yet walkable to everything. Communication with host was easy and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful property with a wealth of character and extremely well located in beautiful Burford. Within short travelling distance to the surrounding stunning Cotswolds towns and villages. Loved our stay here and all queries and questions were answered immediately.

Perfect for a group stay

This our third or fourth year staying here and it never disappoints. A proper quirky old building in a great location, perfect for a couple of nights away with friends. Hopefully be back again next year.

The host Sally was really helpful and accommodating. The extra little touch of the Prosecco , bread and cupcakes made it that extra special. Fantastic location on The Hill. Will definitely be back.

Great Large Property In Centre Of Burford

Thoroughly enjoyed our latest stay here, I think our third or fourth year here. Perfect for a larger group or family with plenty of space inside. Easy access, slap bang in the middle of Burford with variety of pubs, restaurants and shops around. Certainly plan on staying again

There’s no greater review than the fact that this is our fifth year staying at this property. Perfect for a group of friends. Plenty of space, two bathrooms, a kitchen that I doubt we’ll ever use

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds!

Our family of five stayed in Burford for a week before a wedding in London. Sally was very attentive and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items, charcoal grill and large dining table for our large family. We took advantage of the local pub scene and will have great memories of our stay.

Fabulous few days

What an amazing spot. Burford is a lovely village with great shops, pubs and restaurants. This place is right in the middle and just a few mins walk from all you need. Cosy property with loads of character and all the facilities you need. Lots of games to while away the evenings on a comfy sofa.

wedding celebration

we booked all 5 cottages for 20 family members to attend a wedding locally. the cottages were perfect for us. they are all so spacious and tastefully appointed. we especially enjoyed the garden area for the evenings. thank you, sally.

Perfect hideaway

We rented this property because we go to Badminton Horse Trials every year which is about 1 hour away, my mother grew up in Burford and she loves to revisit and see her school friends. The property was perfect for what we needed, a nice cottage to come home too and chill. Had everything you needed and everything is within walking distance. Bonus, the beds are comfy. Will definitely hope to stay again in the future! The owners were very helpful and welcoming, and they bake a mean coffee & walnut cupcake! The HOUSLEY/NOONANS

Christmas 2019

This is our second Christmas at the cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed once again! Location is great and the cottage is perfect for us, lovely added touches such as fresh bread and cupcakes! Decorated nice and festive too, we would definitely return again. Thank you Sally

Great place to stay

The cottage was very comfortable, clean and cosy! The beds were very comfortable too. We loved it. The location was perfect, close to lovely pubs and shops. A great place to base yourself when visiting the Cotswolds.

Fantastic cottage in a great location!

Me and my family stayed here for Christmas, what a fantastic cottage which was a lot bigger when we arrived, decorated lovely for Christmas and in a great location, right on the high street of Burford. We had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you!
