Beautiful Lake home, 10 min from Ameritrade Park and downtown Omaha. One of a kind private home on Lake Manawa, across the river in Iowa. The second level features a full balcony, laundry room, 4 BRs (1King and 3 Queen beds) the master with large walk-in shower and oversized Jacuzzi, 2 with a Jack and Jill bath. The other 1 has private bath. Main floor has spacious living room with fireplace and wet bar, full kitchen, media room with fireplace and flat screen TV, dining area, large porch and 1/2 bath. Wi-Fi available. Stunning view with many restaurants within 5 min. Respectful renters only, not a party house. We hope you treat our home as you would your own. Rates vary according to our calendar, 3 night minimum. Security deposit and credit card required. Cleaning fee $250.00

Beautiful setting

Great place to stay on the lake during the CWS. Very nice house. Great views of the lake and very relaxing. Great communication. Will enjoy staying here again in the future.

RAGBRAI base

5 of us were riding RAGBRAI and stayed here for the first 3 days. Plenty of room, kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of showers and good water pressure.

Weekender

Was so wonderful and straightforward, property was gorgeous and the neighbor was friendly to my children. Even offering them fishing poles while we were there and enjoying small talk about a snapping turtle they found near the vehicles and placing it on their boat ramp so it wouldn’t get injured. Just overall a welcoming environment, if we go back for a weekend trip will definitely be looking to stay at this property again 😊

Wonderful property

We stayed for a long weekend. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to many sights around Council Bluffs and Omaha. We enjoyed the water, the dock, the deck and porch, and had a great view of the 4th of July fireworks. Art was there to greet us and show us around the property, and was available to answer questions. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Mother/Daughters Weekend

Initially there were some challenges, but we were able to work through them and had a wonderful weekend. Positives- magnificent views from most rooms of the house and porches. Kitchen equipment plentiful. Ample bathrooms. Furniture and beds all comfortable. Great homemade ice cream shop 1 block away! Negatives-photos in listing makes the space appear larger than it is in reality. Strong musty smell. Refrigerator not empty. Fire places unable to be used.

beautiful location/home, some minor quirks

There were a couple of things that could be improved upon. The home and closets/dressers were so full that some of us could not put our things away. There was lots of food in the refrigerator that hampered us from putting away our weeks worth of food for 6 adults. We needed to go buy dishclothes and dishtowels, plus washclothes, as there were none provided. We would have brought our own if we had known. The lake view was fabulous, but the big west window, with no sunscreen provided, created an extremely warm dining table location at late afternoon. Overall the home was charming and comfortable and a good experience.

Beautiful lake house

Our stay was perfect. Check in and check out was seamless. Plenty of space and beautiful views. Kitchen was well stocked with way better appliances than I have at home! We will be staying there again!

Great location, lots to do, very nice house

We had a great week at this vacation home. We initially chose due to the location on a lake, number of bedrooms available, and reasonably close proximity for all of our family members. The house was very nice, The recently installed dock was just steps away from the porch, the lake activity was reasonably quiet, the kitchen was well equipped. We brought a pontoon and three jet skis and had plenty of room for all. In addition to lake activity we hiked, biked, went to the Omaha Zoo, and enjoyed live music One of our hiking trips was at Fontennelle Forest Preserve which despite the $11 fee per person was really nice. The zoo is good too. The live music was a wonderful surprise as our initial plans were to go bowling at the local bowling alley (Thunderbowl) and turns out they also had an awesome outdoor patio with live music (which they have on Thursday and Saturday nights). The location from all of these additional activities was within a half hour drive and so convenient. The TV room area was cozy and spacious enough for us to watch a TV series every night as we wound down from the busy day. Local groceries available within minutes (Super WalMart just 5 minute drive). Had a great stay and will certainly keep in mind for future trips. Great find!

Great Lake Location

We had a great time at this lake home. The main level easily fit everyone- we loved the open floor plan. On suite bathrooms for all the bedrooms was fantastic too (two bedrooms had a Jack and Jill set up but it was large!).

Great Family Get-away!

Wonderful place to stay with family. The house has everything your need to hang out and enjoy the amazing view. All you need to bring is food and your swimming suits. 😊

Large Lake House

Very nice house with all the essentials inside and close to Omaha activities. . we were told beforehand That there was a dock at the house but when we arrived there was none . We were told at check in it was due to be installed . Made our plans for fishing with little ones harder.

Great spot, close to Omaha.

We were in Council Bluff because we needed a place convenient to activities in Omaha. This was an easy 15 minute drive across the river! The house was spacious and nice. I gave it 4 stars only because there was not a dock. Being at a lake house with 3 kids and no dock was a bit of a challenge and I was frankly surprised that there was not a dock (although we were told that one is planning to be installed). There was also no water activity equipment. We had to go to Walmart to buy fishing rods and water floats for our boys. Coming from South Carolina, we did not pack those things. Other than that small hiccup, this was a great spot.

Beautiful property

We had a lovely time at this home. The setting on the lake was absolutely beautiful! The house was great! The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Absolutely no complaints. If we ever came to Council Bluffs again, we would not hesitate to stay there. Highly recommend!

Large lake home with a view.

We enjoyed a small family reunion. Plenty of room and a great view of Lake Manawa. Short drive to the state park where we walked on the trails around the lake.
