Delightful family holiday

We had a lovely stay! This apartment is accurately described and a perfect place to enjoy all that the region has to offer. The host gave excellent recommendations which we were very useful for finding the best local places to eat and to enjoy the stunningly beautiful natural surroundings. My only regret was not having enough time to see it all!

Paradise!!

This was my second stay in this charming apartment! Like the previous time, I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and the apartment was perfect; clean, fully equipped, and the location was stunning. I will definitely be returning!

Amazing value; perfect location and helpful host!

This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at this place. It is perfectly located in the heart of the village, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Even though it comes with a dedicated parking spot right beside the building, you don’t need a car. You can walk to the beach too. The host is very responsive and helpful, and he can help you plan your trip, as he knows a lot about the area. This place is a gem, great value; it’s my go to place on the French Riviera.

Almost perfect

This apartment is top centered in the village. It is a gorgeous and quiet place and all you need is near by. The owner and the housekeepers are very kind and helpful. The apartment is fully equiped. It is also an awesome start into the day on the balcony while having that nice view at the sea. We can truly say it was a lovely vacation and we would love to come back.

The perfect apartment in La Cote d’Azur

Paradise found! This apartment is centrally located, you are only steps away from all the restaurants and shops of La Croix Valmer. The apartment is clean, bright and well designed, and has an awesome view of the Mediteranean from the back balcony. It has air conditioning and all the amenities you will ever need. You can walk from the apartment through vineyards to wide sandy beaches. The host is very responsive and friendly, and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay.

What an excellent place to stay - the apartment was exactly as it is described and looks on the website and couldn't be better located in La Croix Valmer, with all that the town and area offered. Darrin has been brilliant - he provided loads of info about the apartment and the area and was so responsive and helpful in communications. In short, heartily recommended!

Der Vermieter ist freundlich, bietet viele Informationen zur Umgebung, antwortet schnell. Der Check-in war unkompliziert. Das W-Lan funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend, aber leider abgenutzt und die Sauberkeit ist mangelhaft: Klebrige Türklinken undLichtschalter, Haare in der Dusche und im Bett. Rinne an der Dusche total verdreckt. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren verschlissen. Die Balkone sind sehr schmal und auf dem Balkom mit Aussicht ist die Abluft der Klimaanlage. Die Kleiderschränke sind mit Gerümpel voll. Das Haus selbst und der Hausflur sind sehr abschreckend. Die Lage und der Ort sind toll.

Thanks for this feedback. We will address the cleaning issues with our cleaning lady. We did purchase new linens and towels a few months ago so this will also be addressed with our cleaning lady. The wardrobes are occupied by spare linens and towels, a vacuum cleaner and an ironing board, as well as some items for the beach. This is not clutter, but rather supplies for our guests. As for the air conditioning, the excess water drains off the floor of the balcony, it does not obstruct the view or otherwise affect the enjoyment of the balcony.

Die Schränke im Schlafzimmer waren kaum nutzbar da diese vom Vermieter größtenteils belegt waren. Der Backofen bedarf dringend einer Reinigung.

This is incorrect, there is one small section of the wardrobe that is occupied by spare towels and linens. The oven is clean.

Wohnung so weit sauber und gut ausgestattet.Bäcker, Supermarkt, Restaurants 2 Minuten entfernt, trotzdem sehr ruhig.Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon im Wohnzimmer, etwas viel Krimskram in den Kleiderschränken. Ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Meer entfernt!

Appartamento ottimo, dotato di tutto il necessario, vicino a negozi, ristoranti e supermercati e comodissimo per raggiungere, anche con la navetta gratuita messa a disposizione dal Comune di La Croix Valmer, le bellissime spiagge del comprensorio, oltre che per visitare le località famose della costa e i borghi meno noti dell'interno.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt für vier Tage in einer kleinen, einfachen und gemütlichen Wohnung. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Meer ist mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle Bus zu erreichen. Supermarkt, Bars, Bäcker und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Kontakt zum Vermieter Darrin war super nett, der zum Personal ebenso.

Gemütliches und sauberes Apartment

Das Apartment hat alles was man braucht und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bilder beschreiben es zu 100%. Ruhige Lage, alle schnell erreichbar. Darrin ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber, er stellt im vorhinein Informationen zur Verfügung, die für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt werden (und noch mehr!). Jederzeit ist jemand erreichbar und eine Antwort lässt nicht lange auf sich warten. Das Apartment war sauber, hier und da merkt man natürlich das hier auch andere Gäste (oder Darrin) Urlaub gemacht haben. Man kann sich dennoch wohl fühlen, alles hat ein hygienisches Gefühl vermittelt.

Kleine und feine Wohnung in zentraler Lage in Croix-Valmer. Das Bad ist nicht gefliest und die Dusche läuft etwas aus, der Besitzer versicherte und jedoch, dass diese Probleme bei einem Umbau im Herbst beseitigt werden.

nettes Appartement, einfach aber in guter Lage mit hübscher Aussicht

mit zwei Kindern die richtige Größe und noch bezahlbar in der Nähe der tollen Strände, Betten bequem, Bad und Toilette getrennt und sehr eng, Küche recht neu aber ohne Geschirrspüler, zu beiden Seiten Balkone, so daß man gut durchlüften konnte, zum gemütlichen Sitzen allerdings beide zu klein und im Sommer zu warm :-), aber die Wäsche trocknet schnell und die Aussicht wie erwähnt sehr schön. Klimaanlage haben wir nur an den beiden wärmsten Tagen gebraucht. Netter Kontakt vorab zum Vermieter. Da speziell nach konstruktiver Kritik gefragt wird, da habe ich tatsächlich ein paar Punkte: zunächst war die Adresse falsch, unter Hausnummer 146 ist das Nachbarhaus zu finden und links kein Parkplatz , so daß wir irritiert waren und uns erst durchfragen mußten, am Haus B steht eindeutig die Nummer 178 - das muß doch vorher schon mal jemandem aufgefallen sein ! Als wir dann die Haustür öffneten, waren wir schockiert und hofften, auch hier falsch zu sein. Alles war auf den ersten Blick dreckig, schäbig und kaputt. Das ist kein schöner Empfang am Urlaubsort, wo man sich wohl fühlen will. Wenn man hier hundert Euro in weiße Farbe investiert und weitere 100 Euro in ein mediterranes Bild mit LED Beleuchtung oder Blumen oder ähnliches, so wäre das für wenig Geld ein einigermaßen ansehnliches und einladendes Treppenhaus, auch wenn einem nur die einzelne Wohnung im Haus gehört. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut gepflegt und sauber. Aber warum man im kleinen Bad Laminat verlegt, ist mir ein Rätsel. Für wieder 100 Euro kann man hier doch kurzfristig Fliesen oder PVC verlegen (lassen), mit Silikon abdichten und alle Probleme mit der Dusche und dem lästigen (zu kurzen ) Vorhang sind gelöst. Den Besuch von St. Tropez hatten wir für unsere Rückfahrt am Samstag geplant und vorab den Betreuer vor Ort gefragt, wie das mit dem Parken ist. Kein Problem versicherte er uns. Nun mag es der spezielle Markttag oder Ferienbeginn gewesen sein, selbst um kurz nach 9 Uhr morgens gab es in der ganzen Stadt keinen einzigen Parkplatz mehr und vorab Stau, weshalb wir enttäuscht abbrechen mußten und das ja nicht erneut versuchen konnten- sehr sehr schade!

Thanks for the helpful and positive review, much appreciated. I will pass on your comments regarding the general conditions around the entry door to the Felicite building to our condo “syndicat”. You are correct, while I don’t control the conditions of the Felicite building, I can raise this at the next annual meeting. As for the address, I can confirm that it is indeed 146 rue du 8 mai 1945. I have just checked my Agreement of Purchase and Sale and have verified with the municipality and Mairie. We have had 75 guests stay at our apartment and none of them have had trouble finding the building, or had trouble finding parking, as there is always plenty of parking. As for the flooring in our bathroom and the door to the shower, we have already had a contractor come to our apartment to give us an estimate to install tile in the bathroom, install a new glass shower door that covers the entire shower and install new laminate flooring for the bedroom, and we are proceeding with that work in November this year, so that issue will soon be fixed. Again, thanks for your comments, and hope to see you at our apartment again one day.

Point positif : on préfère ne pas y être et profiter de l’extérieur !

Appartement idéalement situé à La Croix Valmer mais ne devant être loué que pour deux personnes. La vie à 4 est presque impossible tant l’agencement est mal pensé. Les deux terasses sont des couloirs où même deux personnes ont du mal à s’installer. Les équipements sont médiocres : canapé-lit de basse qualité, placard à roulette sans roulette, meuble de salle de bain qui se déboîte, douche sans pression, toilettes exiguës et nauséabondes…. Je ne parle pas du hall d’entrée où des insectes se baladent allègrement. En résumé : appartement idéal pour sa proximité du centre mais qui mérite un coup de neuf et d’entretien. Propriétaire et gérants très sympathiques et à l’écoute par ailleurs.
