Classy cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath single family home.
Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and a wonderful Heat Pump provides for both warmth or air conditioning! Fun, comfortable furnishings to make you feel right at home. Living room features a sectional sofa, two cute chairs and an electric fireplace. Also, a 40' Smart "ROKU" TV, NETFLIX- all available for FREE and games for adults and kids. Fun, functional kitchen with full size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots/pans - dish service for 8, silverware for 8, wine glasses, water glasses - a fully stocked kitchen to cover most, if not all, of your needs. Two bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. The larger room has a wonderful custom iron bed with comfortable linens and great bedroom set with ample drawers and a small closet to store all your personal belongings. The lovely second bedroom with vaulted ceiling offers a queen size bed, with comfortable linens and a closet to store your personal belongs. The full size bathroom features a bath/shower combination, amazing water heater, towels, hand towels and a variety of wash clothes for you and your guests. Also included is a full size front loading washer and dryer, why go home with dirty clothes? The spacious yard is fully fenced, front and back, with small porch area with a patio set that has seats for 4. A darling fire-pit area with Adirondack Chairs for gatherings - for those wanting to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The house is steps away from Webster park, and just a few blocks away from Swains (which has everything), downtown Port Angeles, shops, grocery stores, and some restaurants. A short drive to numerous hiking/biking trails/Olympic Discovery Trail and Hurricane Ridge, just to name a few. Only a couple of blocks from the Black Ball Ferry, that takes you to the "Gateway to Canada" - Victoria, B.C. This is one of the best locations in town and may be the classiest cottage you'll find in the area! Cute, classy and comfy!

My family had a wonderful time staying at “Oh happy day” during our PNW trip. The house is very well stocked and conveniently located to all attractions.

Oh Happy Day Cottage was adorable! We appreciated how clean, comfortable, and charming it was. It made it nice to come back to after our days at Olympic National Park. We slept great all three nights.

A great pet friendly home central to all the Port Angeles activities. The fenced yards were fantastic areas to wind down the evening and let the dog roam. The owners have thought of everything with this rental.

This cute little two-bedroom house in Port Angeles is truly a happy place. It was spotless and inviting from the moment we walked in. It’s close to downtown, coffee shops, and restaurants which makes it convenient. The host communicated very well throughout, which made everything easy and stress-free. The home felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully taken care of.If our travels bring us back your way again, we would love to stay here again

What a lovely little place to stay. 4 of us- 2 parents and 2 older teens who shared a queen bed- stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the area. Beds were comfy. Everything was thoughtfully decorated and clean. Only one bathroom which worked fine for us. Great location. Definitely noticed that it is “pet friendly”- a bit of a pet smell, but not a problem. Diane was very responsive, and lovely to deal with. A great little landing pad for exploring the PNW.

This home was the perfect place for our family vacation. It was steps away from a beautiful park that we could stroll through. Minutes away from downtown dining. And less than 3 miles from the national park entrance. Not to mention the home was private, fully stocked, and Diance as a host was very accommodating of our family including our 1-year old. We felt at home here. We would most definitely recommend this place for your Olympic park accommodations!

Possibly the best VRBO experience I’ve had. We stayed 2 nights while exploring the Olympic peninsula's north end. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds comfy, couch comfy, great laundry facilities. It was almost too cozy, we wanted to stay put instead of venturing out! All in all, a lovely stay.

Wonderful house! When they say “well equipped kitchen” they really mean it! We had everything we needed to prepare many meals at home. House is conveniently located to all Olympic national park destinations. Convenient to downtown port Angeles too. Having a washer and dryer available helped us pack a lot lighter too! We highly recommend this house a the place to stay when visiting the area! Diane the owner was very responsive to any questions. and did a mention spotlessly clean!

Super cute house and very pet friendly. Property is accurately described, with lots of staples provided in the kitchen. Loved the dog door that allowed our dog to go in and out at will. Within walking distance to restaurants and businesses. Very quiet neighborhood. Would stay again!

All the comforts of home. Ample towels, pillows, cookware, and comfortable floor plan. Clean and well organized. Instructions easy to follow. Beautiful yard and quiet neighborhood. Located near downtown and convenient for visiting Olympic National Park.

O Happy Day was a pleasure that stay in during our days in Olympic National Park! It has the charm of an older house but has been updated. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and more. We were out most of our time at the house, with wonderful weather we did a lot of outdoor activities in the park but had it been bad weather, there were puzzles and games to play. A nice touch! The kitchen had all we needed and it was great having laundry. Would recommend the house!

My name is Diane and I was born in Glasgow, Scotland, grew up in Newport Beach, California and currently am living here again. I moved to Port Angeles in 2008 and sadly had to move in 2014 to be with my family (which isn't sad! Leaving Port Angeles was sad). I'm enjoy my life in California and love visiting my home and friends in Port Angeles - I am pretty lucky to have two great places to live!

I bought this house because I love it. I love the solidness of this little house which was built in approx. the 1920's and completely remodeled in 1999 (that's when the previous owner put in the cute cottage styled cabinets). I walked into this house and bought it within the hour. It has a peacefulness then, as it does now. The view of the trees from the kitchen windows are unobstructed which gives the impression of being more isolated and private, which I love. It is a warm, cozy place that I feel most people appreciate when they are in it. I only decided to put in on VRBO so when I come back to Port Angeles, I can stay here as well! I couldn't do that when it was a "standard" rental.
