Great place to stay

A perfect place to have as a base for our Flinders experience. It had all that we needed and more. Attention to detail was amazing.

Don't overlook this Gem.

We were pleasantly suprised by the quality of the accommodation & its location in Hawker. If we come to the Flinders Ranges again, we will certainly hope to be able to stay here again.

Lovely stay

House was better than what was listed. A lovely house with oodles of space for people and a dog. It was easy to book, and make some late arrangements as needed to, everyone was very accommodating. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Hawker character & luxury

This property is full of character and a perfect base for exploring Hawker & surrounds. Very clean and tidy, immaculately presented, clear communication with the host, easy checkin/checkout. Highly recommend.

A great place to base our Flinders stay. Great communication and attention to detail by hosts. We enjoyed the house and so comfortable:) we will be back!

Meaney's rest was a great place to stay, we all enjoyed it and being able to have Sasha the dog with us was perfect. Thank you for all of your considerations and those little extra's available at the house.

Beautiful home in Hawker

Kevin & Vicki were amazing in communicating & checking in to see if we needed anything. The house is beautiful with eclectic decor, spacious & comfortable. Will be back again. Thanks Kevin!

Lovely and well appointed cottage and very friendly hosts.

We are so used to camping, so the view from the cottage was a little disappointing. But we really appreciated the campfire and the wood provided, a new experience for our visitors from Holland.

Home away from home

Meaneys Rest an absolute privilege to stay in this property with our two dogs. Not only did we feel right at home, Kevin, Vicki and husband, Chelsea and Young Paul made us feel so at home. Going above and beyond to ensure our dogs were safe and comfortable. We were so comfortable and felt at home with all the technology. We highly recommend staying in this lovely house and community.

Well appointed home

Our family enjoyed our short stay at this lovely home. It is well appointed and very comfortable. It had a nice selections of jams and mustards which came in very handy. The home is very central to the township. No problem recommending my family and friends to stay here if ever visiting Hawker. Thank you Kevin for your hospitality. Best Regards Mary

Comfy home base

Meanys Rest is a delightful vintage in the hear of Hawker with in day waking distance to the towns attractions and amenities. Clean, little luxuries provided and everything to make a home awayfrom home. Thanks Kevin for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Meaney's Rest was just what the doctor ordered following a long drive from western SA to Hawker.

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and beautifully restored. Amenities (such as coffees, jams, toiletries, linens, robes & slippers) were all top notch. Unexpected luxury in the town of Hawker, it was too bad that we were only able to stay for a single night. The amazing entertainment system and Google home were intriguing, but beyond us as a retired couple. Loved the genuine and quirky antiques and restored old items. We will be back!

Fantastic relaxing stay with everything we needed. Super clean and awsome technology inside :)

We stayed at Meaneys Rest for 2 nights and just wasnt enough we were disappointed we had to leave. Communication from the owner from day 1 was spot on. The house was spotless. We had everything we needed from wifi and google home right through to bread and milk. I cant rate highly enough the service and the place. Hawker as a town was so peaceful it what beautiful places to drive around too. Allready planning our next stay. Thanks.

Couldn't Ask for More

We loved our holiday and Meaney's Rest was lovely. You could not have asked for anything else, the owners had thought of everything you could need and extra's. The owners also couldnt have been any more helpful and nothing was to much for them. I would recommend this place for a holiday anytime.

many novel touches to make us feel at home.

the arrangements were clear and it was nice to be met and shown around. We were there for only one night which was very comfortable. We would be happy to stay there another time. Thankyou.
