We’re sorry that aspects of the property’s condition did not meet your expectations. The home is oceanfront and features a wooden pool deck, as shown in the listing photos. Due to the proximity to the sea it does require ongoing maintenance and further repairs are underway. The brown grass was also a reflection of Barbados’ dry season, and with recent rainfall, the gardens are now considerably greener. Following damage to the seawall and delays for repairs due to coastal approvals, a green fence was installed; however, the owner did improve the beach access and the beach amenity of the property is substantially improved in recent years. While we appreciate High Trees is more dated than other homes, it remains one of the best value vacation homes on the beach in the area. Pricing has also been further improved with the removal of the automatic inclusion of a cook to give our guests the option decide if to add this on or just enjoy some of the best value on the coast available. We appreciate your feedback and are continuing to invest in the property’s maintenance and improvements.
