The views from the cabin were spectacular. Greg is an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we arrived safely. Cabin is located on the Spearfish Canyon Scenic highway so we were close to all the attractions nearby. We loved watching all the deer on the property and the cabin had all the conveniences of home.

We enjoyed our stay and we're greeted by four beautiful deer the first morning and chipmunks everyday. Gorgeous views from this cabin. Greg is very helpful.

Beautiful property. Views from the lodge are amazing. Peaceful setting. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Greg is a very good host, Would recommend this place as a great option for your visit to the area. The driveway is a bit steep and challenging, but worth the drive.

Beautiful mountain home nestled in the heart of spearfish! This upstairs apartment was absolutely amazing! There was so much information regarding Spearfish inside the home to help with your stay, whether you are wanting to go hiking, mountain climbing or just sight seeing. Communication was great, apartment was clean and well maintained. This apartment had every thing you could possibly need. We had a wonderful time!

This was the perfect final stop and 2 day stay on our family's week long adventure through South Dakota. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to wake up one morning with a breathtaking mountain view staring them in the face. The property itself is extremely well kept and the decor is the perfect frontier asthetic that makes you feel like you're living in a Western movie. Greg the host was awesome and responded quickly with every question I had for him. He even gave us a last minute tip on where to take our daughter for some off season horseback riding that worked out perfectly. My only regret was that we didn't get to meet our host because he was out of town at the time of our stay. Hopefully next year we can come out and stay again! Thank you, Greg for the amazing adventure. And for anyone who's read the other reviews concerning the driveway, it's not bad at all. I drive a low profile Honda Civic and I made it up just fine. Just throw it in low gear and hit the gas and don't stop until you get to the top. The view alone is worth it.

Amazing place

We stayed at Skye Lodge for a weekend getaway. The views from the lodge are amazing and its location can not be beat.

Gorgeous! The place was clean and wonderfully decorated. The views were amazing!Host was wonderful to talk to and offered many tips of things in the area. Maps were included of things to see/visit.Can't wait to stay again!

We had a great time at Skye Lodge. The location is amazing. It was a perfect spot for our adventures only wish we would have had more time there.

Absolutely gorgeous views!! Host was an amazing person, he explained everything about the property and sites to see why’ll we were staying. Ten days was not long enough and would go back in a heart beat!!

Comfortable Stay w/Beautiful Views

Greg has a nicely appointed and well-stocked apartment in the heart of Spearfish Canyon, which made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Nice kitchen, bathroom, and bed. Comfortable for me, my wife and infant daughter and the views were beautiful.

Beautiful Views and Cozy Apartment

The place is beautiful. The views are outstanding. The owner was great to deal with. The apartment was very comfortable. It is a nice open floorplan. Great for a couple's getaway.
