This furnished duplex (Studio apartment) in quiet neighborhood just 4 blocks from the beautiful
Sea of Cortez and .6 miles to the world famous Palmas Pickleball location. Located in the downtown area of Los Barriles. Full size kitchen and appliances, sitting area, and outside patios for your comfort. Awesome views of the Sea of Cortez, as well as the beautiful mountains from the roof terrace. Includes king size bed, utilities, wifi, with a 50" tv. No need for bottled water here, on sight water filtration at no additional cost! Airport transportation is available upon request for a fee.

Guests need to know that there are three small dogs on the property.

We allow pets with a $25.00 pet fee per pet, we also offer a daily pet sitting service if you are going to be away for a extended time for only $10.00 per day.

Los Barriles has everything; grocery stores, small shops, friendly people, art classes, exercise groups, fishing, restaurants, quad rentals, car rentals. The food is incredible. What Los Barriles does not have are vendors, crowds of people and traffic. It is a community.

Exceeded expectations

Doug and Terri have a perfect, peaceful and yet so close to the action. Beaches, restaurants and bars are all close by and within walking distance. Loved my stay and will miss those little doggie greetings!

Great Vacation!

Doug & Terri and their furry friends were such wonderful hosts - so warm and welcoming. A great place to stay, had everything we needed comfortable and clean. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and all that Los Barriles has to offer. Hope to be back one day soon!

Very Relaxing

Doug and Terry were very welcoming and very hospitable, we felt safe staying at their place, the studio is clean and the bed is comfortable. Los Barriles is quiet town, the locals are friendly and helpful. We recommend this place very much.

Great location, Awesome Hosts

Terry n Doug owners of the rental were accommodating from the moment we arrived. Suggestions were made to us daily on navigating the local scene, extremely helpful. I would rate the overall experience of this stay top of the range, great location, Awesome hosts. We will be back!

Fabulous hosts and comfortable stay!

Doug and Terri are the most compassionate and truly wonderful couple in Los Barriles !! We loved the property which was very comfortable and accommodating... but truly Doug and Terri and their furry friends are the reason we will return. We had a little bump in our travels, but everything turned out well. The people in Los Barriles, the food, and the views are ever lasting impressions in our hearts. Don’t forget to rent a quad for a great adventure up and down the coast.

Short walk to Beach

Located walking distance to town, pier, beach and hiking trail. Nice and clean Studio with a view. Definitely recommend this place

Great owners to work with

Beautiful place to stay!

Doug & Terry are the best hosts for your stay in Los Barriles! We could not have chosen a better place for our 2 week stay. Loved having the quad to explore Los Barriles and beyond. The suite is extremely clean and has everything you need and a very comfortable king size bed. Going to miss you both and hope to return someday. Thank you, Karen & Terry from Port Hardy BC

Wonderful Stay!

The studio is sparkling clean and has all the comforts of home. It's even better than the pictures! It's within walking distance to downtown. The owners are friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable, about great things to do in the area. The roof top terrace is a nice place to hang out for sun during the day and peaceful in the evenings. They also have quads to rent on the property and very helpful, checking to assure your stay is going well.

Great vacation rental

I rented casa dulce vida for the second time in Los barriles baja. Great quiet peaceful rental. The place is loaded with everything a person needs for a long or short vacation. The bed is really comfortable so getting a good night's sleep is no problem. Los barriles has miles of beach to explore and relax on with warm blue water to take a swim in. September is a slow time of year for the town. I give doug & terri a A + they are friendly people and they keep their property up.

great hosts, great location, everything you need

We stayed here for 6 days and couldn't have been happier. The place is spacious with a large bed, a sofa, and a full kitchen and bath. It was perfect for the 2 of us. It sits about a block from all the restaurants and a small grocery store so you are right near everything you need, but it's nice and quiet nestled in the little neighborhood. Doug and Teresa are wonderful, super friendly hosts. We took advantage of their airport service which is great. We will def be staying with them again. Loved the pups too. Thanks for the hospitality!

A Perfect Studio For A Los Barriles Baja Vacation

This was my first time in los barriles baja. I had a great time staying at casa dulce vida rental. Doug & terri foster are friendly people. Los barriles is a pretty awesome small quiet, relaxed fishing and kite surfing town. Casa dulce vida was a really quiet rental safe & secure. doug and terri are pet lover's they have 2 small friendly dog's and a cool little parrot. The studio is very spacious with air conditioning to keep cool and a comfortable bed to sleep well. Also It has a full kitchen. The location is really good walking distance to town and the beach. They even have quads to rent. You'll get a better deal if you rent from them. Unless you rent a car. I definitely will stay at casa dulce vida again.

Nice place, good people

The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Good location within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Saw breaching whales, many jumping rays and sign of fish from the beach. Definitely would come here again.

Sunrises and Amazing Hosts!!!

We feel so Lucky to have chosen Casa Dulce Vida for our vacation! Doug and Terry are wonderful hosts and our Casa was perfect! We rented a quad from Doug for the week and explored the East Cape everyday! We look forward to our next visit and our "Dream" to someday live close by. Thank You both for your time and friendship while we were there! We will not forget your hospitality!

Had everything we could need!

Doug and Terry are great hosts. They made sure we were comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer. Doug even helped us last minute to find a ride to airport after our plan fell through. Would definitely go back. Thank you !

Awesome Sunrises!!

Very nice accomodations. The reason for my trip was to scout out a place to retire and do some fishing. Unfortunately the North wind kicked in the day after I arrived and I was unable to do any fishing for 7 days. Doug and Terri had a Quad that I rented for a week. Very reasonable price. Can't beat the price anywhere in town. Trust me I checked. So with the wind blowing I did a lot of exploring on the Quad. There are a lot of good restuarants in town and Cindy at East Cape Tackle helped set up my fishing trips when the wind finally receded. Ended up catching Dorado, Jack Crevalle, Triggerfish, Ladyfish, Snapper and Grouper. Doug introduced me to the locals who might have some long term rentals to view for my retirement plans. In the end I located a RV lot at Costa Brava that met my retirement needs thanks in part to Doug and Terri. I have now wired the money to secure the lot and purchase the 5th wheel. I will be retiring sooner rather than later to this beautiful little village on the Sea of Cortez. Thanks to my new friends Doug, Terri, Friday and Freddy. Oops also Booger!! If I hadn't purchased my own place while on vacation, I would definitely rent Doug and Terri's studio apartment. It has everything you need for a very relaxing time. Bill

The property was everything it is listed to be

We stayed for 8 nights, it is a nice large studio. Very clean and had everything we needed. Doug and Terri are wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We also rented their 4wheeler for the week so we were able to explore the area, though as stated in their post you can walk all over town and to the beach from the property. We will definitely stay there next time we travel to Los Barilles.

Wonderful property in the heart of Lo Barilles

This was our third vacation to LB but our first stay at Casa Dulce Vida. I'm happy to say it won't be our last, what a great vacation rental. Truly a gem. The hosts, Doug and Terri (and Fred and Friday) - are amazing. The apartment is FULLY appointed, comfy bed, comfy surroundings, great kitchen, close to everything, we wanted for nothing (except to prolong our vacation). We scoped this rental out last year after a bad experience at another location, so grateful we found it. We spent a month here and just kicked back, this will be our go to home away from home, super people, super place, can't recommend this property enough.
