granted it was the week after Labor Day, but it was very quiet, which is exactly what we wantedAnd having your own dock where we could put the boat in and leave it in till the end of our stay was a huge plus

Lovely cabin

The cabin is cute and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs. The location has a nice view of the lake. We were able to sit on the screened porch which was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

wonderful 3 days

Everything was great. The location was everything we had hoped for. We would definitely stay there again. Mr Yates was very easy and pleasant to deal with.

We had such an easy booking and fabulous stay at Kentucky Lake, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world (there's a statement). We were so pleased with our stay. All the peace and quiet we were hoping for. Restaurants in the area were great. We're gonna head back next year, we were so taken with the area. Thank you.

Fishing Trip with Friends

Even if the weather and fishing were sketchy at times, we still were able to have a fish fry and enjoy our time on Kentucky Lake in a cottage in a perfect location. The cottage had everything we needed and was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Lake vacation

Nice getaway, some issues with WiFi after a storm. Beautiful lake view. Very quiet setting. Owner very easy to work with and communication was excellent.

Nice and quiet getaway

The house was very nice. You can fish right out the back door. Its a little off the beaten path but it only takes between 20-30 minutes to get to restaurants, stores or land between the lakes park.

Quaint One Bedroom Lake House

Open and relaxing one bedroom lake house within walking distance to the lake. Small front area with chairs to sit and relax. Can accommodate two vehicles in front of the “Selah”.

I can not recommend this place. My son found hair on his sheets so used bedding I brought. There was no frying pan. Air conditioner and light didn’t work on one wall because the plug was not working. Only 1 partial roll of toilet paper. The mats were dirty and the kitchen sink scrubber and sponge were nasty. I got new and threw those away. The cookie sheet was old and could not scour clearn and the grill didn’t work. Cutlery poor and no sharp knives. Mouse poo on counters . This place needs some serious TLC. Oh and no view of the lake. Host was very nice and check in easy.

My spouse and I are flabbergasted at this review. We have worked hard and invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in our property. We have had great reviews over the years. Have we ever had issues? Yes, but our guest have called and we immediately corrected them. There is a lake view just look out the window! It is interesting that we had to find out they had a dog and they didn't register the dog. Our home cleaner found what the dog "left behind" so she knew there was a dog. All of these items will be corrected. The next time you stay in someone's home please have the courtesy and respect to communicate with the homeowner of any problems so they can make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. We didn't hear a word from you of any problems. Remember the home owner is opening up their home to you to bless others who don't get to have a house at the lake. These reviews stay with the home owner forever. Be kind and understanding!

It was nice

The property was clean and welcomed our dog. That's always a plus for us.We were a bit dissappointed that the full lake view was not directly from the property. The furnishings were old and it seemed a bit dark.Otherwise it was a nice property for us.
