Shared Lake Frontage Resort on an all sport 3000 acre lake just a short walk to the beach. With playgrounds fully equipped kitchen, full size frig and stove, microwave, toaster, all dishes, cookware, crockpot and blender. Bathroom is furnished with bath linens. 2 full size beds one with a twin bunk on top, a queen sofa sleeper with all bedding, but not made to ensure they are unused and safes on cleaning fees. Let me know if bedding will be needed for the pullout. Window air conditioner. Outside furnishing which includes a gas grill and patio furniture & 6 chairs. Free Wi-Fi.

This includes a boat slip for your own boat slip #6 and cottage #6. You will enjoy your own fire pit too!! Shared fire pit down at the lake 8 chairs provided first come basis or bring your own chairs.

Close to shopping and restaurants and just 7 miles to Gun Lake Casino! Minutes to Bay Point Inn Bar & Grill, check out their Wednesday night live entertainment. Not far from US 131 Motor Sports Park. Grand Rapids Airport under 30 minutes away.

We had such a fantastic vacation at gun lake. The property was incredible. It was clean and well maintained. Easy access to the lake. Definitely family friendly. The kids had a blast. Definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you!!

The cottage was super cute and clean. It was a nice and quiet laid back community. We requested an additional fan and it was outside the door when we walked back out. I messaged Starr about a wasp that was going between the deck boards and they showed right up to spray. They were so nice. The only suggestion I would make is a lamp in the living room. The smoke detector definitely works since we set it off once cooking bacon. It is 100% family and pet friendly.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and so cozy. We didn't have much time to explore the area due to being in town for a wedding, but we did walk down to the lake prior to leaving and the area was beautiful! Starr was very sweet and so great to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little cabin!

Had a nice weekend there. They have a lot of what you need for your stay. Quite pleasant area. Host answering questions very fast. Overall had a lovely time.

Early Spring Stay

Great location, outdoor fun

The location was great for an event in area. Loved the playgrounds! Water was too cold to swim in, but the lake was beautiful, especially for full moon. Just make sure to ask host for cabin number. We were able to figure it out based on pictures and host responded quickly to us.

Family wedding

2 if my sons stayed here with there wifes and young children. Great relaxed feel with open secure play areas for the kids.

Relaxing visit

The property was as advertised. House was clean with the essentials provided for a nice stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. Gunn Lake is beautiful. There is a wildlife recreation area close by with miles of hiking trails. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

It was a quiet and restful stay. A couple of issues but were addressed very friendly and promptly. The pictures of the inside of the cottage didn't show that the rooms are open at the top of the room, so if there is a light on it also brightens the room next to it. Overall a good stay.

Cozy little cabin

We didn't spend much time at the cabin - mostly to sleep and prepare breakfast but, for the limited time we were there it was quite comfortable. Only thing I would recommend is fluffier pillows (just my opinion - some like the flatter ones)

The home was as described, clean, a short walk to the water, and perfect for our family. Communication was good and we are glad we stayed! One suggestion would be for bed linens to be readily made on the bed. It was a bit of a surprise to find the clean linens folded and all beds needing to be made (this single Momma didn’t expect to do work) but wasn’t a deal-breaker as everything was clean. My kids liked the area but I would say the playground area is best suited for kids 10 and under as the play equipment is for smaller children and the basketball pad is also quite small. We still enjoyed our time (even the teenagers) walking, hanging out in the beach/dock area, etc. The beach has a sea wall and doesn’t slope directly into the water so I would recommend swimming at Yankee Springs or from another beach if that’s the type of beach feel you’re aiming for. As other reviewers stated, the rooms are open at the ceilings so lights can be seen and noise has to be kept at a minimum so as to not disturb others—-again, not a deal breaker but renters may wish to have this information. Overall, the value for the money, cleanliness, and proximity to so much makes it a win! We would consider staging here again!! :)

Nice Cottage!

We went to a weekend wedding at the Bay Pointe Inn and this was perfect for the family and our two dogs to stay. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the activities at the resort, but they looked like it would be perfect for a family. The host live next door and asked several times if there was anything they could do for us. Thanks, we enjoyed our stay!

We bought two properties in this resort. We use one for our family. We have 6 grandchildren that love coming out to ski, tube, swim, fish and have some campfires. We rent the other one to help us pay taxes, association fee and up keep. I work for the county of Kalamazoo and my husband has recently retired.
