Recently renovated two story home in a golf course resort community with double decks to enjoy the great outdoors! Four bedrooms and four baths with two family rooms. Complete kitchen with dining table to accommodate 8. Enjoy the covered outdoor space and gas fire pit on a chilly fall night. All bedrooms have TV, WiFi and cable. Great stacked stone fireplace to stay warm on chilly nights. Just a quick 20 minute ride over the mountain into Highlands, NC.

A dream Christmas girls trip!!!

This place is wonderful!!! Great Mountain views with a wood burning fireplace! The owners are very responsive and had beautiful Christmas decor!!! The living room seating is extremely comfortable! This is one not to miss!!!

Perfect

Brilliant location for exploring the mountains. Incredible views and one of the best equipped places I have rented. Also well stocked. Very comfortable beds with all the details (natural gas grill, BGE, plenty of gas for the fire pit).

Mountain getaway

House was great and everything we hoped for. No unpleasant surprises, beautiful view from back decks; nice to have a deck on both levels. About an hour drive to Rainbow Falls which was a windy, yet easy drive for our hiking day.

Amazing!!!

This property was amazing! Stunning views from the deck. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need (as well as an abundance of spices). Two of the bedrooms are on a lower floor (complete with a nice sitting area and large deck) so the stairs could be a challenge if you have knee problems. This property is an A+++++

Always a fabulous time

We love everything about this property and have lost count of the number of times we've stayed here. We're a group of long-time girlfriends who gather to spend time together and solve all the problems of life, cook and watch our dogs enjoy one another. We're appreciative that the property is dog-friendly. The residence is always spotlessly clean and beautiful decorated. We've already booked our stay for later this year.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time! The home was exactly as described. My husband and I enjoyed an early Thanksgiving with our children and their families. The kitchen was perfect for all the fun cooking.

Perfect for a large group. Amazingly well appointed!

This stay was 5 “mature” women celebrating my 75 b’day. We could not have asked for better accommodations for a “girls trip”. In over 20 yrs of renting VRBOS in many states, I have never stayed in one with a kitchen as well appointed as this and top notch bed and bath linens. Clean, comfortable living furniture. Too cold to use the amazing upper deck, but will for sure be rebooking this property in the future! Bravo, to the very thoughtful owners!

Great place !

This was a perfect house for our group of golfers. We take an annual trip to Sky Valley. The deck and interior were ideal. Nice and clean and open. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Great Mountain Golf Getaway

Our group of friends-4 couples-all in our 70’s, had a great time playing golf and exploring the area. It was our first time here and would love to return. The weather was perfect and so was the house. It was decorated for fall and felt like home. Our only complaints were the one queen bed, the stairs and the bathroom showers that were step in tubs. Otherwise the porch with the fire pit and grill was great. Thanks to the Barrs for sharing your lovely home.

Wonderful house!

The pictures really do not do justice to this warm welcoming home! My friends and I partial lived on the porch. The owners were so easy to communicate with. We are planning on coming back next year!

Lovely home with plenty of room for our family.view off the back deck awesome, beds very comfortable, and kitchen well equipped!ou grandchildren loved playing in the beautiful waterfall at Sky Valley, nearby zip lining and activities at Scaly Mountain. Great stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. The large covered patio was so nice and had a beautiful view. The house was exactly as listed, and Lisa was easy to get in touch with. It was also great to be able to bring our dogs along to enjoy the mountains.

Excellent Couples Golf Retreat spot

This is our 3rd year staying at this property for our annual golf trip with lifetime friends. It is perfect for our group of 4 couples. Each couple has their own bedroom & bath. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area is great seating and the best view of the mountains. This house is only @1 mile from the golf course. We can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful House and View

This is our second time staying at this house, and we love it! It's so beautiful and has everything you need. The porch is large and relaxing, and the mountain view makes the trip. The owners are extremely responsive, and we've never had any problems. Sky Valley is convenient to everything you want to do in Clayton, Highlands, and the surrounding area. We hope to enjoy this house again in the future.

Yet Another Wonderful Stay

This was our third stay at this fantastic Sky Valley home. It never disappoints. Our group of friends enjoys spending time together, cooking, chatting and playing board games. We always appreciate pet-friendly rentals because we travel with our pets. Our son proposed to his girlfriend while we were there. We were so pleased with our stay! The house was perfect and the host was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property and hope to be back again.

Loved the house!

My cousins and I have been taking mountain vacations for years. This is by far our favorite house. The road to the house is steep but easy to navigate. Even in the rain, we had no trouble getting up the road. And THE VIEW!!!! Spectacular! The house is comfortable and roomy. The deck space is fabulous. The location is convenient to excellent hiking. Lisa was very responsive to our questions. We loved this house! We will definitely be back next year.

This family home is special to Sean and Lisa Barr. Sean's father built the home in 2003 and the couple were married in the Chapel in Sky Valley in 2006. After the passing of Sean's parents, Sean and Lisa have kept this home in the family and have continued to update it and make it their own. We enjoy our quick weekend getaways with family and friends and often host family dinners up to 30 guests. Perfect location to maximize holidays! We live close by near Atlanta so it is the perfect place to relax and decompress from the hectic work in the city.

Come enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains and with a short drive you have several choices in N.C. either in Highlands or a quick drive to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our family spent many summers and holiday's in the mountains with our families and are happy to share our home and experiences with others.

Enjoy the double decks and separate living spaces. For large families or with children each group has their own place to relax. Enjoy the outdoor living area and on a cool night use the fire pit or fireplace for that cozy feel.
We also have provided 3 additional blow up mattresses so large parties especially children can use in the secondary living area for a great slumber party environment for family vacations.
