Charming 2bd/2ba cottage features open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, gas starter fireplace, screened porch with uninterrupted views of lake, adjacent deck, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, Kurig, microwave, toaster oven and chef’s utensils available), fresh interior paint, w/d in hall, private master with new bath featuring large walk-in shower,gorgeous interior with loads of charm, charcoal grill,outdoor fire pit, private lighted dock- ideal for fishing, swimming and docking boat during your stay. Flip flops and groceries are all you need for an enjoyable get away.

We require a 2 night minimum stay and offer special event pricing rates for Talladega Motor Speedway race, holidays ($179-189 night) and short term leases. Our home is a 10-12 minute drive to speedway. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Birmingham/ airport and 18 minutes from Pell City. Please contact us directly anytime with specific questions and help planning your next vacation or holiday.

We recommend River’s Edge Marina and Poorhouse Branch Marina for boat rentals or you may bring your own, launch nearby and dock at the cottage during your stay.

We continue to make improvements and add fun exciting things to our property for guests to enjoy. We welcome suggestions from our guests.

We enjoy being able to open our home to others and value the love and memories shared at Mo’ Fun Cottage. We want to insure that our guests are agreeable to helping us continue sharing this special place and leaving it better than they found it for others.

Great weekend getaway

Clean, Cozy, Quiet with a great view. We had an excellent stay. Check in and Check out were very easy and the cottage was well furnished for a relaxing getaway.

Spring Get-Away

The property is very secluded. Quiet and comfortable, we all appreciated the time there. We had one of our best vacations to just unplug and unwind. From pre arrival to returning security deposit Susie was always available if we had questions. We will be returning.

Mother/daughter weekend

My daughter and I met halfway between TN and the Gulf Coast for a weekend to recharge. The cottage was amazing. So comfortable and charming. Great water views and access. We had a great experience.

Nice get away. Host was super nice. Good location. Everything on the description is accurate. No gas grill or tv though. But they do have a charcoal grill so bring charcoal or your own grill if you plan on grilling. I would visit again.

Spring Fishing Trip

Have stayed here several times and absolutely love the location. Away from reality but close enough to be able get to restaurants or stores within 15 minutes. Owners are great with communication and respond quickly if needed. We will definitely return.

Beautiful Cottage!!!

Loved the cottage, it was at the end of a road and there wasn't anyone else around. It was so nice. The cottage was spotless and super clean. Amazing view of the lake from the screened-in porch. Loved it.

Nice and quiet.

The cabin was so clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked for home cooking, beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was wonderful. It was a bit chilly in February so we didn’t get to enjoy the screened in porch but the deck was nice in the sunshine. We would love to come back later in the spring. Walking the roads was a wonderful aerobic workout!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I needed to get away for a few days from the hustle and bustle of the city. This was the perfect place to sit back, relax, fish and enjoy the stunning views. We will definitely stay again.

Mo Fun and Mo Relax

Very quiet and serene and beautiful scenery. Very quaint place to have quiet and relaxation! Lake is beautiful and this place provides all the necessities! And it’s super close to the talladega speedway! We will be returning!

It was Mo Fun!

This was our first time ever staying at a lake house because we live on the coast. I was a little unsure, but once we got there, it was so tranquil and so perfect. The house was quaint and comfortable. I love the layout, and the views were incredible. we swam off the dock with floats and also brought our boat. It was a little bit of a trip to put the boat in the water and drive it back but once we did, we just left it tied to the dock. Once we got there, we never left for three days and nights. Cooking was not a problem and we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Lake Vacation

We had an amazing stay at Mo’ Fun Cottage! The views and access to the lake are everything. We savored the magical sunsets, peaceful morning fishing (and reading) from the dock and that screened in porch. We had a few little issues while there and Susie was both quick and kind to remedy those for us. She was great at communicating all the needed details and taking good care of us. We’ll treasure our stay here forever!

Lake Vacation

This is our second stay at this property and we love it. The cabin is clean and comfortable with easy days sitting on the porch and hanging out in the water. Pell City is an easy drive to groceries and restaurants. No WiFi and cable is a blessing…allowing you to completely unplug. Susie is quick to respond to communications and is very helpful. We can’t wait until we can come again!

Relaxing

Very quaint and relaxing. Beautiful views! Quiet neighborhood! The cabin is set up perfectly and nothing is missing except your food. I love that everything is available in the cabin! It’s really quite perfect.

When we visited in person, we knew as soon as we reached the drive way -- this was ideal for our family. Our property is conveniently located within 2 miles of Clear Creek Marina and approx 15 min from Pell City which offers several grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and conveniences.
