This spacious 1500 sq. ft. 2 BR, 2 BA vacation home is located on a quiet street in the safe gated community of Puerto Aventuras. The large, private terrace overlooks the building's private pool and water wall, providing cool ocean breezes and relaxation. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, an full ensuite bathroom, and opens up to the terrace. The other bedroom features two twin beds. Both bathrooms contain walk-in showers as well as custom made cabinets and granite counters. Our personal WIFI modem will provide you with free high speed internet.

A nicely equipped kitchen and dining area for 6 will enable your party to prepare and enjoy a home cooked meal, or have a light breakfast out on the terrace while listening to sound of the water fountain and birds. The open style floor plan leads into the living area equipped with a flat screen TV (Sky High Definition Cable) and comfortable couches. The large glass sliding doors in the living area also open up completely to the terrace. Elevators provide easy access to the unit, and there is a free off-street parking spot for your car.

A five minute walk will take you to the gorgeous beach and a coral reef abundant with marine life including sea turtles. Aside from the beach, there are many restaurants, a couple of small grocery stores, boutique shopping, a golf course, and swimming with the dolphins within a short walking distance. Puerto Aventuras is built around a large marina with boating and fishing excursions available, as well as boat and canoe rentals.
Some suggestions for excellent day trips within driving distance by taxi or rental car, include:
Xcaret (“ish-ka-RET”) - a huge eco-park that includes many tours and activities
Xel-Ha (“shell-HAH”) Park -snorkeling, underground water caves, zip lining, etc.)
Mayan pyramids and archeological sites: Tulum (30 minutes away) and tours are available for the ruins at nearby Chichen-Itza and Coba.
Playa Del Carmen (15-20 minutes away) - great for shopping, art galleries, and night life, and ferries to the island of Cozumel.

The city of Playa Del Carmen also offers major shopping such as Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Office Depot, and Centro Maya shopping mall on the road to Puerto Aventuras.

Activities including scuba diving, cave diving, golf, exploring cenotes and underground caverns, tours of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, dining and shopping in nearby Playa del Carmen. Akumal and Tulum are all within easy reach by car.

Relaxing in paradise

Condo was spacious and had everything you need. Complex was quiet. Geraldine was a tremendous help with advice on transportation and using the beach and any questions we had. We spent most of our time enjoying the large lanai. Loved the breeze. Pool was well maintained and we often had it to ourselves.

Relaxing Getaway

This property was perfect for my elderly parents and husband and I. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed/linens were nice. Plenty of cleaning products if you need it. The pool was relaxing and was really not used much by other guests. The location was great as we had a golf cart. It would of been a little to far for my parents to walk. Communication between property manager was great. The only thing I wish they had was a contract with a water company to deliver when you needed a new jug. Would love to come back here.

Beautiful Condo

We have stayed many times in Playa Del Carmen but never in Puerto Adventuras. We absolutely loved it there. The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. A ten minute walk had you at the marina where there were beautiful boats and yachts, dolphins, restaurants and shops. For less than $5 each way, you could take a taxi to a huge grocery store for all the essentials. The beaches are spectacular and the beach closest to the condo had good snorkeling. There is plenty of wildlife also. Two days down by the pool we saw 2 monkeys who stole a banana from another residents table and put on quite the show and there are Capybaras everywhere. We absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back!

Paradise in Mexico

We would like to share our beautiful vacation in Puerto Aventura Mexico. The weather in Mexico is definitely a guarantee warm sunny days. The 1st most important part is the place where you will be staying and it's by far at Marina Mia. There is everything you need and more. Access to pool... which is surrounded by beautiful chairs, bbq, tables to eat and not mention how clean it is at all times. The beach is a 10 minute walk which is perfect to see how beautiful the area is.The security is great cameras everywhere and one call away if ever you need anything in your condo very quick service Geraldine was fantastic thank you! The condo itself was luxurious from kitchen that had everything furnished to 2 bathrooms and the most beautiful terrace overlooking the pool! All we have to say is WOW and we most definitely recommend anyone with either a family or a couple to go! The owners are wonderful thank you Josefa and your husband for having shared your paradise with us!

Family vacation

Thank you for sharing your property with our family. We enjoyed our family vacation. The property was modern, clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need as well as many essential for beach use, toiletries, extra pillows, blankets, towels, etc. The only setback for beach access and use , this private beach is not very friendly with its use. Everyone on the beach had wrist a wrist band as they were staying on the beach patronizing the property. We didn’t have wristbands so we were told we could not use their restaurants or restrooms, could and had to find an open sand area to use the beach. This is difficult since there are private umbrellas and chairs set out everywhere. So our solution was to patronize different restaurants alongside Playa del Carmen to access their beaches.

Nice Property

The unit was as described! No hidden fees, no surprises. It could have been a bit cleaner, but nothing that couldn't be quickly remedied. Geraldine and Josepha were very nice and very helpful. We have never stayed outside of a resort so it was different for us. I was a bit disappointed by the beach. You could not "walk" the beach. There wasn't much space that was not hotel front and each side of the cove ended in rocks. But we did hang out and swim and snorkle. The area was clean and safe. There were quite a few options for food and a nice area around the dolphin discovery. The pools are nice. Here are thoughts about the area. The drive to and from Cancun can be an absolute nightmare. The traffic was bad, one trip took 2.5 hours. However the "X" parks are all close. The area within Puerto Adventuras can get a bit boring. We were there 2 weeks. The outside area of PA, is not so welcoming. C

Nice property, good location

Nice property and good location. Air conditioning worked great, hot water, showers and toilets worked well also. Short walk to marina and restaurants. Nice people in the building.

Nice and clean place

We stayed for 10 days. Beds are comfortable, nice and roomy. In the condo most items you need for are well arranged so you can feel like home. And the owner was very helpful and quick to respond.

Lovely Gated Community

My Family (of 4) stayed in Puerto Adventuras From April 20 - April 28 and had a wonderful time. We had expected the condo units to be in a gated community but were surprised to find that the entire area of Puerto Adventuras was enclosed. It can be a bit of a walk to the centre of town (or the beach) if you do it more than once a day so we rented a golf cart for the week. The condo unit was lovely and the grounds well maintained. It was nice to be able to eat in if we wished and a washer and dryer are always a bonus. The only disadvantage we found was that there is not much of an actual pool area. The pool chairs are directly in front of someone's patio. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Absolutely perfect!

Marina Mia is one of those properties that I can honestly say I would go back to. I don't say that often, and we have been travelling to the Riviera Maya area for almost 25 years now. It was absolutely perfect for our party of five (4 adults and one child). It was spacious and beautifully decorated. The layout of this particular two bedroom unit was ideal for two adult couples because the rooms were on opposite ends of each other, allowing for privacy. The unit is well kept and very clean. The large modern kitchen was stocked above and beyond our needs, including not only a coffee maker, but an electric kettle for just heating up water if you wanted to (which we did). Having a washer/dryer was a huge bonus. There is nothing better than being able to travel back home with clean clothes. We spent a lot of time on the spacious patio. It provided that extra living space that added to the comfort of this unit. The pool and hot tub were divine and very well maintained. The area where Marina Mia is located was incredibly tranquil and quiet, very much like the town of Puerto Aventuras itself. It made for a very relaxing trip overall. And I can't speak highly enough about Jo (the owner) and Geraldine (the unit manager). These two women were awesome, always quick to respond to our questions, always quick to offer tips for our trip, always available for whatever we needed -- and so very very friendly. Their kindness alone makes me want to go back and stay there. Overall, Marina Mia felt very much like our home away from home. Pardon the cliche', but it's true. :)

Clean and modern

We really enjoyed our stay at Marina Mia. The complex is not on the water but does have two pools which we made use of every day. There is a lovely BBQ area and the unit is well stocked. The restaurants and marina are a ten minute walk away. The community is safe and secure for walking at night. Of course, it is more convenient to have your own car for grocery shopping, etc. The one thing that we did not like was the noise coming from The Hard Rock Hotel every night until midnight. They are close by. If the bass bothers you I recommend bringing ears plugs with you. That's all you need.

Great Condo and Location

We very much enjoyed the 18 days we stayed in this condo within the gated community of Puerto Aventuras. The owner's description of the place as well as the photographs were very accurate. Communicating with the owners was very easy, with our emails and phone calls responded to immediately. Josefa the owner was very friendly and helpful providing us with information, and dealing promptly with an issue. Upon our arrival the condo was very clean, and well maintained. The appliances are all relatively new and great quality. The kitchen is fully stocked for several people. The high speed WIFI internet worked extremely well with no issues. There is satellite TV which is a large selection of channels. We really enjoyed the large well-furnished deck that faces east for early morning sunshine and shade in the afternoon. Geraldine, the property manager was also very friendly and helpful. The condo complex is well maintained and kept clean by friendly staff. It is a very quiet building, as is the pool area. Puerto Aventuras is a quiet, clean, and safe community. It is developed to a high standard. There is a core area with several good restaurants, and shops. The community is best suited for older adults and families, as there is not a lot of entertainment for younger people. The downtown area is a nice walk, being about 1 kilometer from the condo. There is a large Chedraui grocery store about 2 kilometres from the condo which has a very good selection of groceries. There is a small beach area within 400 meters. We found lots to do in the general area. Puerto Aventuras is centrally located. We toured Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Tulum Ruins, Playa Paraiso beach, and Akumal. We also went snorkelling at two cenotes just southwest of Puerto Aventuras named Jardin del Eden and Christalino which we truly enjoyed both of them. We mainly travelled around the area using the Colectivos, which are cheap and you never have to wait more than a couple minutes to get into one. Overall we are very happy that choose to stay in this condo within Puerto Aventuras. We had a great vacation. We would recommend this condo to family and friends.

We fell in love with the Mayan Riviera 5 yrs ago when we briefly visited the Tulum ruins. We have returned every year since then always hoping to find our home in Mexico. We saw this condo and immediately decided it would provide us with the comfort and convenience that we were looking for.

Nowhere else will you find the unique features of this condo. Within walking distance to all amenities (beach, restaurants, spa, fishing, golfing) but set in a quiet relaxing environment. So many places to visit and exciting activities to explore!
