Enjoy an authentic cabin feel in our two-story rustic log cabin situated in a quiet area of Lake Almanor Country Club on the Lake Almanor Peninsula with a view of the lake and mountains. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The master bedroom has full-size bathroom with a personal-sized Jacuzzi. Wifi available. The decor is country with a sportsman's flair. Clyde, the elk, will greet you when you arrive. Unique furnishings and overstuffed living room furniture for your comfort. The kitchen is stocked with most cooking vessels and utensils. There is a large deck in back and front with a covered front porch with patio furniture and a propane barbecue. Lots of family games are provided. Parking for 3 cars or 2 cars and 1 boat (19 feet). July and August rates are rented at a minimum of 5 days, but will consider renting for shorter time. Please send an inquiry to check on availability during these months. Thank you.

Lovely cabin with great deck with views! Gracious host with excellent communication. So great to have two living spaces for our family of 6. Be aware it is at the top of a hill if you plan to walk or bike to and from rec areas! One bedroom mattress was very very soft. Really great value for a comfortable place! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great place to stay in Lake Almanor

An absolute wonderful place to stay. The access was a little strange and it would have been nice to have the game/TV room on the lower floor but otherwise the place was fantastic and we would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful Cabin

This is so unic, to enjoy a perfect get away, for a family ! Rustic and charming,clean and full of amenities! Not to mention the nice view of the lake!

Beautiful piece of heaven

Ot was such a wonderful stay, the neighborhood was quiet and clean. The cabin is so beautiful and wonderfully furnished. Easily one the best places I've ever stayed in.

Fun trip, tons to do nearby. Hosts were communicating well and gave us some fun options. Nice quiet area.

Family vacation

This was a great place for our family vacation. Access to the country club facilities (boat launches, play grounds, BBQs) was great. Recommend picking up some stuff to grill at the "Family Dinner" on the weekend.

Morning coffee with a lake view/ Spectacular view of the moon over Lake Almanor

We absolutely loved our cabin at Lake Almanor. We spent many mornings and evenings on our deck with family and friends. Can’t wait to get back to the hidden gem of Lake Almanor!

Wonderful property and area

We truly enjoyed the property and area. The cabin was clean and very cozy comfortable. It had everything we needed and wanted. We plan to go back next year and explore more of the beautiful and friendly area. Relax and enjoy the world around us.

Lovely relaxing cabin at the lake

This cabin was perfect for our family as a base to explore Lassen Volcanic NP and Lake Almanor. Cabin is wonderful - everything we needed was supplied & the owner was very easy to work with. No problems checking in or out. Would definitely book again!

Peaceful Cozy Log Cabin

My husband and I needed to have some space near our children and grandchildren for a family vacation. We found the perfect retreat! The cabin is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with all the cozy comforts needed to enjoy a Lake Almanor vacation. Close to all the country club amenities and local attractions, I would highly recommend this for a mountain vacation.

Fantastic Forest Get Away

We had such an amazing time and stay at this cabin! The manger kept in great communication and was super informative with our questions. The view is worth every penny alone, but the accommodations and amenities made the stay. If you have a chance to stay, def make it a week or longer!

Cozy cabin in very safe neighbourhood

The cabin is very well equipped and proper. deers can be observed while dining on the scenic terrace. The communication with Lanita was excellent: She perfectly prepared our arrival.

Wonderful Stay at Lake Almanor Log Cabin

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this log cabin in Lake Almanor! Everything was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of board games / puzzles for the family to enjoy and my son loved the foosball table. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck every morning and evening. We also enjoyed the beach and nearby golf course, and rented a boat one afternoon. This cabin is close to it all! The owner was very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay at this gem!

A perfect cabin with a beautiful view of the lake

This cabin could not have been more perfect for our stay over Thanksgiving weekend! Our family made amazing memories there this year playing games, cooking and enjoying the scenery. Several deer walked through the neighborhood and the view of the lake through the big beautiful windows in the cabin was wonderful. Will come back to this home again as soon as we get the chance!

Very quiet area, house is larger than may appear. Has a/c in kitchen and mb but there was no need during our stay. The deck although not wide is long and great for morning coffee or enjoy dinner. Important, follow host directions to reach front door.Frank R.

A comfortable family home with all the amenities (full kitchen, washing machine and dryer etc) and lovely views to the lake. The property is in a gated community with limited restaurants (none of which were open on the days of the week we were there) but there were some great places for food and drink nearby (special call out to Hido’s restaurant and Waganupa brewery). Travelling outside the gates to the local restaurants was a bit tricky as the gate/keypad system wasn’t working but the owners were very responsive to issues and keen to ensure a pleasant stay.

We grew up in rural Arkansas where we met. My husband, an avid hunter, always wanted to build and live in a log cabin. We built this log cabin as a retirement home, but still have a way to go until we can retire. We hope you and your family can create some great vacation memories at our log cabin. I recall my father taking our family to a log cabin as a child. It is a very dear memory for me. Please feel free to use the fishing poles (do not forget your fishing license) and picnic equipment we have.
