The perfect AZ vacation home or temporary place to live if you are in between houses, near a Par 72 Championship Golf Course Clubhouse at Johnson Ranch and just 3 minutes away from the Johnson Ranch Community Pools and Hot Tubs. There is also a free Pitch and Putt on the other side of Hunt Hwy off of Bella Vista.

Great, but…trip protection won’t help you

I want to give 1 star for VRBO, but I’m leaving it at 3 because I don’t want to affect the property’s rating too badly. Everything about this property was as advertised, clean, and the manager was very communicative and accommodating, so that gets the 3 stars. I planned to stay here long term for job relocation; however, I did not end up getting the job in AZ and had to move back to CA. I purchased trip protection on the off chance I did not get the job. I had to sign a lease agreement for the property due to the amount of time my family and I would be staying at the residence and they requested all money UP FRONT. Makes sense for squatters, etc. however, in the terms, they will not offer you a REFUND if you cancel your trip early. This is where trip protection SHOULD help out. NOT SO! They denied my claim because it did not qualify as an “emergency” and the property manager will not refund money because of the agreement I signed. So, the $1200 I should have gotten back is now lost forever. And now I’m stuck paying moving expenses back to CA. BE ADVISED, No one will help you if on the off chance you have to leave early. Trip protection will only cover you for emergencies and nothing else. I will no longer be using VRBO because of this experience.

San Tan Valley Summer 2024

We had a 5 week stay at this property. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The home was very nice, the kitchen had just about everything you could think you might need or want to cook. Nice size bedrooms and a living space that was spacious and perfect for family gatherings for dinner or a swim at the pools we had access to.

Nice place overall

Had slight problem when we got there as there was no BBQ as when we booked there was a picture of one but the owner was great as they got a new one which worked out great. It would be very helpful if the cookware would be up graded as not the best.

We enjoyed our stay at Johnson Ranch and took advantage of the amenities offered here; the parks and also San Tan Heights golf course. Brenda was easy to work with during the check in process and any other items that came up and needed attention. We look forward to staying here again! Ty & Pam G.

Excellent experience!

This place is overall great. We stayed here for almost 2 months. It was very functional for our needs, in a great neighborhood. Basketball courts, 4 swimming pools in the neighborhood with access provided by the host! One of the best BNB we’ve stayed at long term.

Generally met all our needs Very clean Well supplied once we located everything A couple of minor issues A carbon monoxide detector that was at the end of its life that had to be silenced twice a day The gas bbq was not really needed.but was very slow to cook the one time we did use it

Excellent price for extended stay

Relocated to AZ from another state and called this place home for a month and half while I searched for permanent housing. Checking in and out was a breeze. Home had pretty much everything you could need. Fry's grocery store across the street from subdivision and Walmart approx 1 mile down the road. Fat Cats entertainment center approx 10 min away. Loved the pool access and the subdivision even had Splash parties for the kids 1x a month that included DJ, games, prizes and Water Bounce houses. Property management was easily accessible and responsive. Def recommend this property if you need long term housing at a great price.

My family and I and our dog enjoyed every day we were here. Wanted to stay and make an offer for the house. This house and the location is amazing!!! With all the major stores near by and just about every thing you needs. We also enjoyed the pool pass with the hot tub.

San Tan Valley Johnson Ranch home

My husband and I wanted to spend a month in AZ to get a better feel for the area as we will eventually move to the Phoenix metro area. This house suited our needs perfectly. We both work from home so it was a working vacation. The desk in the bedroom and the big dining table allowed each to set up office space. The backyard was a paradise for our little fur baby who loves to be outside. The house was stocked with everything needed in the kitchens and made cooking a breeze. The only thing I couldn’t find was a pizza cutter but we made due:):) I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We enjoyed staying in San Tan Valley. The house was very nice. Brenda was very easy to communicate with. We would recommend it if you don't mind the neighbor waking you up by starting his truck at 6:50 AM and letting it run for 20 min. Other than that it was perfect.

Quiet Area

Although we were only able to stay for a little over a week. The house was very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe there. Thanks again Brenda for your generosity and when we come to the area again we will be sure to see if the house is available for us to stay at.

Enjoyed our stay in Arizona.

The property contact was wonderful. She assisted us with several questions we had. She was very helpful and listened to our concerns and suggestions we had for future visitors. The property was comfortable and close to the pools, shopping, etc.

Nice Home

The home is very nice and well equipped however it needs more light in the living room. Suggest one or even two table and/or pole lamps. Nice sized back yard, especially for a dog.

Outstanding rental.

Immaculate and very well stocked. Management company are extremely responsive and helpful. We loved it. Only issue was next door neighbours dog, so be prepared to talk to them about the constant barking. After we did talk to them the problem went way. Thanks Brenda and Erik. Well Done.

Beautiful, Upgraded, Spotless

Johnson Ranch Home was the perfect "home base" for a month while visiting family in the Valley of the Sun! Grocery shopping and restaurants were across the main street, and driving a few minutes towards town (into Queen Creek) was very easy for all your other shopping needs. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood with all the comforts of home inside. The property management team was great. They were helpful and prompt in responses, and were only a text away if needed. We would recommend this vacation rental to friends and family alike. Our two young children enjoyed having their own rooms, space to play Legos, and the recliner couches to watch movies from. My wife and I enjoyed making meals from the upgraded kitchen, entertaining in the dining room, and enjoying the star-filled sky at night.
