Lovely remote location in a unique house. Great views from the living room windows. Quiet and fresh air of morning is magical. Bed is super cozy. We will be back!

This was our fifth time staying here (we've come in April, May, June, Sept and Nov). We love it. So serene, quiet and beautiful. Great hiking nearby. In town (10 min or so) there is a large grocery store and some local restaurants. We prefer to cook at home but have tried a couple of the restaurants which have been very good. The house has all you need. It's located on top of a hill that you get to by going up a 0.25 mile dirt driveway. SUVs should have no trouble. I would highly recommend!

This home is truly perfect for getting away from it all! Beautiful views and no neighbors. The fireplace and huge windows in the living room were perfect for a winter getaway. The kitchen is the most well-stocked of any VRBO I have stayed in recently. I hope to be back next year.

This was our fourth time at Half Moon House and, despite the gloomy weather, we had another enjoyable stay. Perfect for getting away from it all. The house has everything we need to feel at home. Highly recommend!

Fabulously private location. Great views, Open access to the outside from all of the many windows. Wonderful trails and running spaces for the dogs. Exceptionally comfortable bedrooms, cozy, quiet bliss !!! - Hope to return in the future

Wonderful Getaway

This is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet. No noise from traffic or neighbors, only nature at its finest. House is unique with a beautiful fireplace and there's plenty of land to explore. On our list of places to hopefully visit again and again.

I greatly enjoyed my two night stay at this quiet and secluded location. It is truly a sanctuary and a place of respite from noise and crowds. I also appreciated the unique design and theme of the house, and its half-moon shape was very distinctive and unusual.The host was very responsive as well. I highly recommend this private getaway for anyone looking to unwind and be surrounded by the beauty of nature.
