Cozy Cottage, End-Of-Road Quiet, Woods, Piano! Great For Families

This house is super cute, 2 bedrooms: upstairs, one with queen bed, closet, sofa and coffee table to relax in. The other has 4 bunk beds ; a double bed , dresser, desk and closet. Downstairs: nice kitchen, dining room and living room (with queen sofa bed) , roomy bathrooms.(one including laundry ). Also a piano, so bring your music!! There is a deck outside, fire pit, hot tub, small freezer for the fish! The woods are pretty here, peaceful, a lovely place!!! It is very quiet, you can read, sleep, RELAX!! Be sure and ask me questions. And keys / locked doors are included .......

Excellent family-friendly stay!

This place was very homey and comfortable! The property manager was very friendly, laid back and accommodating. There was plenty of room for our large family to sleep. We enjoyed the games, the books, the movies and the toys that were available in the house. The hot tub was wonderful!! We will definitely be staying again if we come to town.

Nice secluded home out in the woods.

We had an enjoyable stay. It gave us easy access to Soldotna, Homer, and Seward.

We had a great time thank you. The property owner was very kind it was fully stocked with everything you could need and we were close to town and yet secluded in a forest area I would stay there again in a minute

Quiet and spacious accommodations

Enjoyed 5 nights at this quiet home near Soldotna. The home is relatively spacious with good amenities. Wonderful yard - and plenty of parking. Owners are very pleasant and easy to work with. Will likely stay here again.

Fishing the Kenai

Great quiet location for extended stay in the Soldotna, AK area. Plenty of room for a bunch of guys and would be great for a family. Location allows for day trips to Homer and Seward when not fishing on the Kenai River. Hope to go back for more Salmon and would definitely see if this rental is available next time.

Awesome, as always!

Like our previous stays, Odie’s place was ideal. She welcomed us and checked in to make sure all was well. Our stay was relaxed and served as a perfect fishing home base. The hot tub is a bonus, too! We will be back next year, and the year after...

Perfect for Alaskan fishing get away!

Perfect house for four fishing buddies. Ode was very accommodating and let us utilize some fishing equipment and a vacuum sealer for our fish. The house is very well stocked and when we had a question, Ode and Rick were very prompt. Enjoyed seeing moose walk through the property. Nice stay!

Peaceful and convenient

We had another great stay here - and were pleasantly surprised with the new addition: a hot tub! We were provided with everything we needed: clean sheets, plenty of towels, etc. lots of room for several fishermen to spread out and relax. Odie even provided us with fresh cookies upon our arrival, too. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great, as always!

This was our third year staying here and it was perfect for our group of anglers. The dryer was a lifesaver, allowing us to dry our rain-soaked gear each evening. Odie was very attentive and went above-and-beyond. Can't wait to come back next year - we're already booked!

Beautiful and Relaxing

We stayed at the cabin with 4 adults and 4 children. We all had comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and everything we could need in the kitchen. The location in the woods, near town, was perfect! We loved using the hot tub and sitting out on the deck enjoying the long warm summer days. Thank you so much!

Great location

Cute house out of the main part of town. Wonderful hosts! We loved having this place to come home to at the end of all of our adventures. The hot tub was a great way to unwind. Frequent visits from a momma and baby moose. Blackout curtains would have been nice for those of us not used to 24 hour daylight, but we improvised and made it work.

Genuine Alaska kindness

Odette and Rick are incredibly generous. They have everything to make your stay uncomplicated. They let us borrow items in the shed. We had left fishing poles 6 years ago and they were still here to use by whoever. We were fortunate when we found this listing. Its habitated by moose and that is fun to see out the windows when you are eating breakfast.

Most amazing month in Alaska

Our month long stay here was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I have always dreamed of a summer in Alaska. I love to fish and hike in the mountains and the long summer days and amazing weather is a dream. Our stay in Odie's place was just as we dreamed! It was quiet and peaceful. We built a fire and enjoyed seeing Moose and Eagles. The home was comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities that we could not pack. Everything worked out better than our expectations. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We live out here, in the house we built next door. Raised our four daughters in a basement while we built a log home and have always loved the end-of-the-road, the beauty and peacefulness here and thought perhaps others might also.

We bought this property in 1983. Later our daughter's family built this house and have now moved. So we bought it and would like to have others enjoy it out here!!
