Excellent unit with great views! Close to great walking trails, snorkel beaches and restaurants. Beautiful grounds and and great swimming pool!

A great place to stay.

It fit everything we were looking for our family trip. Great location. Private beach. Snorkeling, pool, and a very clean unit close to amenities. We would certainly stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was extremely understocked-especially with plates and bowls which was disappointing. Despite this, we would return!

Great Location

We stayed a week at Kahana Sunset D6. Unit was perfect. Remodeled, comfy beds, and great location. Private beach and BBQ made the stay convenient for a family vacation.

Enjoyed our stay

Pleasant and comfortable. As described. Easy access and parking. Nice bay to swim and plenty of sights and activities within a short drive. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and Comfortable Vacation Spot

We stayed with a family of 5 and had a wonderful time at the Kahana Sunset. D6 was a great unit with 2.5 bathrooms (the extra half bath downstairs came in handy). Everything that you need for a fun and relaxing vacation.

Loved the location and views!

We enjoyed the location and views of this property. We watched whale from our deck whenever we were on it -- breakfast, lunch, happy hour, etc. It was great to have space to cook breakfast, 3 bathrooms, beds for everyone, etc. Highly recommend!

Great spot

Condo was very nice. Huge balconies, beds were comfy. Bathrooms and parking space were a little tight, but it is a nice unit and grounds

When can we move here?

We had a wonderful time in Maui and loved the Kahana Sunset! The staff onsite was so friendly and made us feel so welcome! The location was perfect for us, and we loved every minute!

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot

Safe, quiet, immaculate grounds and breathtaking views make it so relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms are immaculately clean even though the furnishings and kitchen amenities are a bit worn. Great Time!

We had a great time in Maui and the location of this property was great! Unfortunately the property beach had very little sand to play and the water was a little rough for our kids to play in it. So we had to drive about 5-7min to nearby beaches. However, the nearby beaches (Kapalua Beach and Napili Beach) were family friendly, and the sand and water were amazing. AC was not an issue as they have floor and ceiling fans throughout the place. We brought our binoculars and we were able see the whales from the master bedroom’s patio. The pool was nice and never crowded. We cooked all meals at the house and never had a problem with missing utensils, pots and pans. The only thing it would have been nice to have at the house, were blackout curtains in all the bedrooms and in the master bedroom, one curtain that would cover the whole wall since it had glass (see through).

Sleepy quiet location away from it all

Kahana Sunset is a great little spot with a nice pool and small beach. The grounds are well maintained and the location is easy to find. D6 is in a great spot in the complex with beautiful views. The kitchen and main area are nicely updated and the decks have suitable patio furniture. Bedrooms are a decent size but bedding is tired and bathrooms are musty and dreary. Both main bathrooms are set up with sink outside of the toilet/shower area and in one case it’s directly in the bedroom which was odd. Fans in both main bathrooms, which are connected to lights, were very loud, and would wake others in the space when used at night. The kitchen has decent cookware and plates but nothing else. Literally nothing in space such as salt and pepper or coffee filters etc. We ultimately had a lovely stay because of location but the volume of fees and costs was high for what we got from the unit etc.

Kahana Sunset No Ka Oi!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My fourth stay at Kahana Sunset,2nd stay in D-6.This unit did not disappoint as far as accommodations, cleanliness, and location. Since our last stay, air conditioning has been added and greatly appreciated. Minor inconveniences were the refrigerator and sun shade. The icemaker became clogged due melting ice which had to be removed to become functional again. As with our last visit the son shade kept retracting every hour and we had to get up repeatedly to extend it again. The beach was a lot of fun for snorkeling, saw turtles every day, and very calm during our stay. Overall, Kahana Sunset did not disappoint!

Our unit, D6, was clean, mostly updated, easy to access, and provided a spectacular view. Only a few suggestions: replace the mattresses in both bedrooms as they seemed old and saggy. Also the living room furniture was not very comfortable and could use updating. Plus putting a nice 5x8 rug in front ofthe sliding glass door would be a nice touch.
