A charming home convenient to strolling through town and trips to Campobello Island. Loved the ice cream store steps away from our back door. Plenty of parking. Really nice shower and a TV in every bedroom. We would definitely come back!

Excellent location near downtown Lubec within easy walking distance of shops and restaurantsAlso excellent location for visiting Campobello Island. Many hiking trails nearby including Quoddy Head State Park as well as Cobscook Shores trails. House is cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Hosts are helpful and friendly. Perfect place for our first trip to Lubec.

Great stay

The location was great and easy to walk to water and stores. Because of Covid 19 there were limited things to do but the property was beautiful and people were friendly.

Lubec lodging

Very, clean, comfortable and convenient to all local amenities. Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Perfect place to stay!

This house is so delightful! The location is perfect...food and ice cream close by. The house has everything you need for your visit. And, the sunroom had a wonderful view of the water...

Would highly recommend for overall charm and location.

Dan and Tammy are great hosts, concerned about creating a stress-free and comfortable stay for us. Their steps away ice cream/souvenir shop is most convenience for an after dinner stroll around the waterfront! Loved the whole experience.

Waterfront View

Really nice place, overlooking the bay, with a great sunroom with a 270 degree panoramic view. The home had everything we needed. I highly recommend this rental!

We absolutely loved our stay in this quaint 1889 home! It was so cozy, yet there were plenty of spaces to spread ourselves out. The kitchen served us well and the dining room had a table to seat six. There were two areas for relaxing while enjoying the view of the bay and FDR Memorial Bridge to Canada. We spent so much time in the enclosed porch and loved our morning coffee in the nook with a view. Bedrooms and bathrooms worked well. Great shower! Everything was very clean and many supplies were available. We didn't need anything, but I'm sure the hosts would have responded quickly! The location was perfect...shore, town, hiking, parks,and groceries were all right there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to step off the grid for wonderfully relaxing time. You will create many memories!

Wonderful

We were very happy with this house and its location! It had enough room for all of us and was very comfortable. Being situated right in town was perfect for us. The owner is wonderful and very responsive, close by for anything you need. We look forward to going back!

Fabulous - house and location both great

Perfect getaway from the hustle and the bustle (and the heat). If you're looking for hikes, small town vibe in a place with great hosts, look no further. The house was clean, had everything needed and Tammy was great as a host. Gave plenty of recommendations for activities and even an extra scoop of ice cream from their shop nearby! Would love to return for another visit sometime in the future.

Quaint coastal charm

The hosts were responsive, kind, and completely accommodating. The house was nicely stocked with essentials, plenty of linens, and an assortment of games to play at the generous dining table. The location was nearly perfect with a great view from the sunroom - our favorite spot from morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet getaway yet being located in the town’s center, then this place is for you. We are happy we chose to stay here.

Lots of Positives!

Wonderful location overlooking the Campobello Bridge to Canada and ... just a few feet behind a wonderful ice cream/gift shop! The house was very comfortable and well appointed. It was our second time at the same location in Lubec and would hartily recommend it and our host Tammy..

Very Nice Accommodations

We really enjoyed our stay in your house while visiting Lubec. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely updated inside to make it feel welcoming. What we really liked was being able to walk up town to the restaurants and the fishing wharf and to wake up in the morning and look out the window at an international bridge connecting Canada and the U.S. OK I thought it was cool. Thanks for the stay!

Village

Town/Village was historic. Loved the Dockside Treasures. Cohill’s was nothing to write home about. We enjoyed the whale watching tour, although we did not see a whale.

Loved Lubec

Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Perfect location for walking around town, to the beach--farmer's market and ice cream in the front yard! So much to do of beauty and interest in the area--despite fog we did it all. Coastal trail at Quoddy Head, Roosevelt's Cottage, and Cobscook Shores a must--as well as lobster in the sunroom! We met many lovely locals, Monica of Monica's Chocolates being one. Thanks Tammy for everything!

Tranquil Location and Great Home

We really enjoyed our stay in Lubec. The house was amazing, the views were incredible. Everything you needed for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing vacation. The host was very good at answering our questions as we had never been to Maine before and her suggestions for things to do were great. Came to see the leaves changing and Mother Nature did not disappoint. The house was very clean and had everything we needed from a fully equipped kitchen to great internet, to an overall comfortable furnishing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Lubec.

Head for this sunroom in Lubec

The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy yourself. B sure to read the packet provided by the host. It is comprehensive anticipating any question you might have. As advertised we were all drawn to the sunroom, a perfect place for conversation, Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Cozy Home In Great Location

Downtown with the shops, restaurants and Lubec Brewery all just steps away. The home is super comfortable. A sun room with a great water view where we had coffee in the morning, wine in the evening. King sized bed piled high with quilts. Super responsive heat to take off the overnight chill. Fresh lobsters a walk away, and a pot in the kitchen! And close to all kinds of wilderness area including Campobello. We'll be back!
