The new villa is an rustic balinese style architecture call " LUMBUNG" made mostly from coconut wood with rustic colonial style tile though out kitchen and bath rooms down stair.
Table bar, kitchen benchtop, and bath room table are all hand made polished concrete.
In front of the pool is a floor seating table with the good seating cushion, ideal for dinner table or suit other living purposes.
All the bed rooms are up stair with toilet in between. The rooms are with woven bamboo sheets and the famous iron wood from Borneo for the roof. All wooden floor and wooden structure up stair.

Great place near amenities

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely two storey traditional Balinese Villa. My only issues were that there was no table and chairs for both working and eating and only one sofa. The downstairs area also gets very hot- there needs ceiling fans if possible!

Very sorry if create issue for you Michael.. With the design it is match to use floor seating as the photos not modern sofa, the floor seating has firm mattress and back cover too. We also can not use ceiling fan since the ceiling only about 2 meters high, so very dangerous.. Hope you use our side fan..?

Unique Bali Living Experience

Home is comfortable and has all you will need onsite. You must take the transportation to the home for check in as offered by the owner. If this is your first time visiting it may be difficult to locate the home. Once you see where it is; it’s in a perfect location. Ms. Ketut the property manager is very sweet and helpful. Enjoy your stay here!

Thank you Joseph for the wonderful review..yes the transport going to my home is not my business(you pay direct, and the driver is the car owner too) but in my great interest to ensure my renters can come without issue finding us. Bali is unique and very traditional place, unfortunately we don't have good infrastructure such is in the western world with all good identification for all properties. i guest the old things make it unique?

Wonderful little villa

We stayed here as we were in Bali for a wedding and we knew we had friends staying close by. It was the perfect base for us. Ben was very helpful before our arrival, Kadek checked us in quickly, and could not have been more helpful during our stay. The villa is clean, and well maintained, there is plenty of water provided, and beers available in the fridge (IDR25,000each). We booked our transfer with Ben and it was a good price and they knew exactly how to get us closest to the door.We had a great time, and really loved the utterly charming Villa Made East, thanks for having us!

We are very glad Leigh that you have wonderful stay with us. hope to see you again next time and if you love such artistic-rustic design, please consider my new ubud villa also in the city but it has jungle view. It will be all bamboo construction except concrete pool..

Island living

This property is just as advertised. Ben was great to communicate with and always available. Made & Kadek are fantastic taking care of the villa. Made even drove me all over town to help me with atm issues. Wayyyy over and beyond!!

Great for first timers!

We visited Bali for the first time and the villa is very close to everything, shops and nice restaurants everywhere and the beach within 10 minutes walk. The staff are very nice and helpful too! We appreciated the free water fountain as you need to drink so much under this heat. The AC is also quite nice in the bedrooms when you need to cool down.

Super séjour

Nous sommes arrivés pour 4 jours sur Bali, la maison est super, proche du centre et à 10mn à pied de la plage de Seminyak. Rien à dire, tout était parfait !

A beautiful priva villa in the heart of Seminyak

Ben’s villa is very quiet and private, but only 100 meters from the restaurants and shopping. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and the Bintang Supermarket is about a 7 minute walk. No need for a motorbike! Ibu Ketut and her staff cane by everyday for cleaning, and are wonderful company if you’re home. Ben is very fast to respond to any questions or requests and I recommend his villa wholeheartedly. In fact, I’ve booked a return visit in 3 months. I’m sure you will love this place. Check out the little warung at the end of the street. It’s fun, great food and really inexpensive!

Me and my parents absolutely recommend this with us. It was so convenient. Almost every taxi driver can easily find this location according to Ben's pictures. It is very clean. And the staff is very friendly and make everything easier for us. I like the kitchen part so much. It is well organized. Your friends and family can sit on the floor. And then watching you cooking in the kitchen. This is very sweet,we love this!
