the property is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere, the property had all the amenities we needed and was warm with comfortable beds..

Amazing break from the city!

We had a lovely weekend at the lodge; it’s beautiful house in a great location for bush walks. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Blue Mountain Escapes!

Great little mountain escape

Cozy well appointed house that suited 5 people. Linen and beds and other facilities were excellent. My only suggestion would be to provide complimentary a bag a firewood, instead of having to bring our own.

The Barber Family's Getaway.

We were all impressed with the comfort afforded by the heating. The layout of the Property was particularly helpful to the Parents with small children, who stayed downstairs. Cooking and Dining Facilities were splendid. The littlies "loved" the Miniscule Tapes. The adults read Bill Bryson.

Cozy and comfy

A lovely long weekend spent lounging around the lodge. It was well equiped to keep the family entertained and we all felt really cozy and comfy. Nice, clean and tidy. Easy booking process and accomodating for special request. Thank you so much!

Well located cosy house for family weekend

Well laid out property a quick drive to Blackheath and the BMNP. Everything at hand but have to supply your own wood for the stove which was unexpected.

Family getaway

Great mountain accommodation for a large crowd, well fitted out kitchen with everything you need, clean and well presented house with great ducted gas heating and lots of games and dvds to keep you busy. Location was great, just a short walk to national park or a quick drive to Blackheath shops. Would have no trouble rebooking another stay here.

Blue Mountains

Property is in a great location very quite and close to the attractions of Blackheath. House is a good design just lacked in the cooking utensils department and a good dusting on the inside but apart from that all was good.

The best we've stayed in

we have stayed at various properties in the Blue Mountains every year for the past 8 years and this was the best we've stayed in. It was cosy, welcoming and had everything our group of 8 needed for a very memorable holiday. Thank you! Stayed 02/07/2017 to 08/07/2017

What a fantastic experience!

From the initial booking enquiry to picking up the keys, everything was seamless. The house was exactly what my friends and I were after. It's a stone's throw from the lookout and surrounding trails. The house itself felt welcoming as soon as we arrived. Plenty of space for 8 of us to relax and enjoy cooking, (the kitchen facilities are great!) dining and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped for both the warmer and cooler months. We can't wait to return!

Lovely, cozy property

Lovely property, very well equipped, cozy & comfortable throughout our stay. Loved the log fire and great beds, only small let-down was that we arrived at 7pm on a very cold evening and the house was like an icebox. It warmed up quickly - cozy within 90 mins, but would have been a nice touch to have the house warm. Absolutely nothing else to complain about. What a great house design, great location for walking and really handy for Blackheath. Easy five stars!

Hi Paula - Thank you very much for your review and glad you had an enjoyable weekend. Just for future reference The Lodge has a natural gas central heating system in addition to the slow combustion fireplace that would have warmed the house in 5-10 mins. Hope to see you back soon! Regards Sue
