Our visit was late in the season and unfortunately the lake was low but we enjoyed our visit. Owner was easy to connect with and gave detailed instructions on usage of the cabin.

This was a beautiful and serene week. The lake view from the house is amazing--we brought an inflatable kayak and floaties and were all over the it (there is a canoe provided as well). It's a short drive to town for shopping, events and eating out and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to eat in. Can't wait to be back!

Very nice view of the lake from the elevated property. The water near the dock is nice for swimming, especially for small children as it is shallow and sandy bottom for a good distance. Second time for us to stay at this cabin, so we knew what to expect.

Was quiet which we were looking for.

Nice location, but was sort of hard to find. Beautiful views of the lake and sunrises and sunsets.

Had a great 3 day fishing weekend to celebrate Father's Day. Cabin was as listed and very well up kept. Host was easy to work with and communicative. We had a great stay and thank you for hosting us.

Great weekend Getaway

The 6 of us had a great time while at the cabin. Everything we needed was provided and exactly as described. Cabin was clean and comfy, and close to everything you might need for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful Lake Cabin

This is our 3rd time here which should tell you how much we like it. The view is to die for and we had so much fun canoeing with the provided canoe and playing on the floaties we brought. It's a quick drive to Hayward where we also had fun and some nice dinners! Highly recommended!

Beautiful cabin and great host

We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed. Greg was the perfect host and answered all our questions. Round Lake is a beautiful lake and fishing was great! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. It is close to Hayward and the area has to much to see and do.

Round Lake Cabin

This was a nice cabin and beautiful location overlooking Round Lake. Swimming and boating in Round Lake was perfect. Crystal clear water. We watched the hummingbird on the feeder by the deck. We would recommend this cabin.

This is a classic cabin full of vintage charm with an amazing view and stairs down to beautiful Round Lake. It has a well appointed kitchen (we visited the farmer's market and ate in a lot) and canoe for guest use. Bring your floaties (or go shopping in Hayward and buy some along with taffy and cashew brittle). As a bonus saw the aurora borealis. Plan to be back next year.

I will book again!

Greg was fantastic to work with. Very accommodating. Easy booking process. He supplied us with much info about his cabin and the lake including eating places, boat launches, rentals if interested. Was able to do some canoeing. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely book again. Thanks, Greg!

Round Lake Cabin

We had a fantastic time at Greg's cabin! It was as pictured. Clean and tidy; beautiful views over Round Lake. There are 50 steps down to the dock; we did not have a boat - brought paddle boards and floats. The lake is clear and sandy. We did the mountain bike trails near by and tubed down the Namekagon. Also went to a couple of recommended nearby restaurants. Thank you for a great trip!

A good time was had by all.

Mountain biking. Fishing. Golfing. Swimming. The perfect spot to do it all. The cabin was just as pictured. Greg is a great host and did his best to put us on fish. We had the most luck when we found the fish cribs. A perfect get away!

Cute cabin on round lake

I stayed here for 4 nights in June with my mom and 7 year old son. The weather didn’t cooperate so we spent a lot of time inside playing games and relaxing. Internet worked great, streaming services and some tv channels. Kitchen is fully stocked with tons of supplies. Loved the big couch overlooking the lake views. Shower was hot with good pressure. Bed in the larger bedroom isn’t comfortable and could be replaced (per my mom). Never used the wood stove but instructions were clear on how to use it. My son got duck itch twice swimming off the dock (before the rain started and then again 3 days after constant rain). I’ve been coming to Hayward for years and never had that happen. If it happens to you, wipe down head to toe with isopropyl alcohol and then apply cortisone cream. It stopped the itch within an hour. Owner is available to communicate anytime. Appreciate this homey Hayward cabin. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin on Big Round Lake! From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, comfortable, and truly like a home away from home. The cabin was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a well-equipped kitchen.The owner was fantastic to work with—easy to contact, quick to answer questions, and full of great recommendations for things to do in Hayward. He also provided a helpful binder with information on local restaurants, fishing on Big Round Lake, and area attractions.One of our favorite parts of the trip was enjoying our morning coffee on the deck while listening to the loons and watching the boats on Big Round Lake. It was so peaceful. Since our relatives live nearby, we also enjoyed walking the neighborhood each morning and meeting friendly people and their dogs.I have been coming to Hayward my entire life, and this is one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in. The owner has truly thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We slept great, loved every minute of our stay, and would definitely return. We highly recommend this cabin on Big Round Lake!
