Larkin Street is a beautiful, completely remodeled, 2 bedroom, 2 bath flat in a two unit Edwardian building on Larkin near Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason and Marina. It was originally built in 1913, with many period details including crown molding, fireplaces and clawfoot bathtubs. It was recently renovated with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen, Brazilian walnut floors upstairs, and carpet in bedrooms. Master bath has marble counters, double sinks and heated floor. There is easily accessible public transportation (cable car, trolley, bus and taxi) to all parts of city from the house.

I’m not sure that someone who lives in the VRBO home on a regular basis should be renting the property out without putting away their dental floss and the like. There were inconsistencies between the listing and actual policies

After a long day of travel delays, we arrived at the property and were met by DeDe. She was so very sweet and accommodating. After a brief tour of her charming home, we were excited to settle in. The home is the perfect location for all of San Francisco's attractions. We had everything in the home we needed to make our vacation comfortable. The best part was the rooftop deck with the views of the bay and Alcatraz. We had takeout dinner on the roof each night. There was not a restaurant with that kind of view. If we ever return to San Fransico, we would without a doubt stay at this property again.

Location, location, location!! This condo was the perfect size and location for our family while on vacation with a ton of fun extras like the roof terrace overlooking the bay. We loved being directly between Ghirardelli Square and Francisco Park. Fantastic!!

Nice Condo; great location; very supportive responsive management. We never had any issues but it was clear that if there were problems they would be immediately addressed. Would definitely stay here again.

My adult daughters and I loved staying at this condo. The location had a wonderful view from the deck. It was also just one block from Ghirardelli Square and the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with partner and adult son and condo very spacious. Really nice location to be able to walk to water front and having the roof top deck for morning and evening views was great. Communication with Dede, the owner, was very good and easy.

Amazing location just steps from Ghirardelli Square, easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooftop access for sunrise/sunset and Alcatraz views. Family-friendly with a kitchen, updated bathroom near the bedrooms, and lots of games and books to keep you entertained. Check-in and checkout were very easy and took no time. The host was great about responding to any questions quickly and was very accommodating. We would love to stay here again.

Such a wonderful stay. Dede could not have been a better host. The location is phenomenal! This is one of the best VRBO we have ever experienced. We would go out of our way to stay here again.

San Francisco vacation

We love to stay in old, quirky houses and this one was perfect for our family of 5, our kids absolutely loved it. It was surprisingly quiet for being so close to fisherman’s wharf and the rooftop deck was awesome for sightseeing over the bay.

Fabulous location and fabulous hostess

Dede was great and met us at the property.She shared and it made our stay great.We biked over the bridge and into Sausalito and strolled Muir Woods.It was great

Excellent condo, location and host!

We loved the location and the condo was perfect with a rooftop deck view that is unmatched! We’re an active family and really didn’t spend too much time at the condo but it’s a perfect place to stay with great location and proximity to everything we wanted to see and do.

Wonderful Location

This property is located in the heart of numerous tourist destinations. It was enjoyable staying in an authentic San Francisco home while still being within walking distance or a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do. It is well-kept and met all our needs! Highly recommended.

This was a great place to stay, was right near Ghirardelli Square and the wharf. Dede was an excellent host; she was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here if we come back to San Francisco!

When you stay here, you will be just a cable car ride away from Union Square in San Francisco and a bike ride away from the Golden Gate Bridge. On Friday night, walk to Fort Mason where they circle the Food Trucks. Take a trolley to the Ferry Building to visit an amazing farmer's market on Saturday morning. Catch a cab on the corner to the best restaurants in the world. You will be a 15 minute drive to Sausalito and an hour away from Muir Woods or the Napa and Sonoma wine country. From the roof deck you will be able to see ships sailing by Alcatraz and Angel Islands. You can even take a swim in the chilly waters of the Bay or just enjoy the sandy beach of Aquatic Park just a block away.
