We loved this home away from home. It was clean, tidy and comfortable place to stay for a week.

Dave was good to deal with, the location was fine and the house was OK. I guess we did not feel comfortable as the house was more akin to a house swap than a rental. When we rent we are used to houses that are basically for rental purposes only and are uncluttered with plenty of room to put your stuff not ones that are full of the owners stuff. The dryer was in a shed and unusable so should be removed from the listing. Also felt that being asked to mop and sweep floors is OK to ask when doing a house swap but not when renting after having paid for cleaning.

The house is indeed a holiday home used by the owners as well as renters - hence the website HomeAway. The dryer is located in the internal access garage- hardly a “shed”, but thank you for the advice, we will remove it from the profile! The Mop & vacuum floor instruction is only you have selected to self clean, sorry for the confusion . I would suggest with your expectations, maybe you would prefer a motel instead of a holiday home.

Excellent stay in Twizel

We were impressed with the property - it suited our needs. A lovely big deck to enjoy the summery weather and really comfy beds. The property owner was available and kept in contact.

A very nice, comfortable place close to shops.

A group of 5 of us had an enjoyable stay of 2 nights. We found the house very comfortable with good sized bedrooms and lounge/dining area. Well stocked kitchen. The outdoor BBQ and deck area were also good. Would definitely stay again.
