Wuaint cottage on relaxing Lake Blackshear. All new fixtures and appliances. Great view of lake from most rooms. Launch your watercraft at Crisp Power Plant Dam public landing (Power Dam Road) and then dock your watercraft conveniently on property dock. Sit back on the built in benches and enjoy the lake, sunrise to sunset. Swim just off the dock, but no diving allowed. Tile floors through out. Kayaks (2) and/or paddle boat provided upon request. "Magnolia" allows you to smell the sweet south.

Had wonderful time. House and property were great plenty of space, nice kitchen and great boat parking, will be going back again next year.

Our trip

Everything was great but there were no blinds or curtains in the living room area. At night we were a little uncomfortable so we put plastic table covers over them

The Magnolia

Great weekend getaway. We could launch our kayaks from the backyard into the lake. Boat landing is across the lake from cottage.

Great Blackshear stay

What a great home and location on Lake Blackshear. We visited for a high school fishing tournament and this place had everything we needed. Plenty of room inside with a great view, plenty of parking for our trailered boat and a great dock with plenty of water for our breaks. If you're looking for a nice clean home on Blackshear, I highly recommend you give this cottage a look!

It's nothing fancy but was all we needed for a fishing weekend.

Very relaxing . Good fishing from the dock. If weather had been more stable we probably would have caught a lot more fish.

what a gem! Magnolia now holds a special place in the heart of our family!

Magnolia was the perfect retreat for our busy family. The cottage was very clean and well maintained and adequately equipped. Magnolia was spacious for a 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage and laid out nicely. The beds were comfy and allowed for a good nights rest. The dock was perfect for sitting out on in the early morning and relaxing with a book and a cup of coffee and also doing a little fishing (maybe next time we will bring our boat or rent one from the State Park just up the road). Our younger children enjoyed going for a ride on the paddle boat and our teens had a blast kayaking around the lake. We loved being able to sit around the fire pit in the evening and watching the sun set over the lake while roasting hotdogs and having s'mores! The local atmosphere was great, laid back and the local folks were very friendly. We enjoyed dinner one evening at a local BBQ place which had some of the best ribs, pulled pork and brisket! Peggy was a great help in answering any questions or concerns before and during our stay and made our stay delightful. After a few days at Magnolia our family was already talking about coming back! (we spent a week in Florida after leaving Magnolia and our kids actually wanted to go back and stay at Magnolia!! yes, it is that great of a place!) It was a blessing to get away from the cell phones, iPads all electronics and just have time together as a family at the lake! Hope to visit again next year and stay a little longer! A special thank you to the Crumley's for allowing us to stay at their great little lake cottage! It was a gift from the Lord for sure! Every Blessing, Pastor Andy, Amy and Family

Perfect!

The Crumly’s cottage is perfect! They have a beautiful yard and the home is comfort... if you are looking for a quiet get away, it’s it! The hosts are wonderful and the home is equipped for everything you need.

We totally enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful.

There was a dock to secure our boat, and the boat ramp right across the lake. The bed was super comfy and even though the home was on the small side, there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the view.

The Magnolia

The cottage is beautifully and simply decorated. We had a relaxing stay, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Lake Blackshear. We would love to stay again sometime.

The property was warm and welcoming. We were definitely at home for the weekend in magnolia

The property size was perfect for our group. We found tons of things to do and enjoy to occupy our stay. We would love to make the lake house a family tradition.

Vacation at Magnolia rental in Lake Blackshear

We could not have found a better place to rent. The house met beyond our expectations. There were some neat decorative items in the house which can be seen by looking at photos. The sunroom was awesome. You could see the beauty of nature especially in the morning and late afternoon. The neighborhood was quiet and orderly. Our hopes are to go again in the near future.

I fell in love at Magnolia

My Friend invited me to spend the weekend with him at Magnolia he told me we would go fishing and down the river and have a wonderful get away! This is where I told him for the first time I loved him as he had told me so many times already. Not only is Magnolia Beautiful and the most relaxing place I've ever been the owners are awesome! I cant wait to stay there again.. We had a great time our boat was easy to dock and the fire pit makes perfect roasted marshmallows.. We had access to the grill and grilled steaks purchased from SALT LICK I love that place too!! absolutely wonderful time from start to finish.. Nothing bad to say at all!! I tell everyone to stay there! We are getting married Sept 17, 2016 on Lake Blackshear!! But I have to say our adventure started in that much loved cottage "Magnoila" labor day weekend 2015!! WE love it there! There are several good places to eat nearby and shopping is within reach.. love the little towns nearby and the extras you don't see everywhere. The water is great ! I owe the owners much more than I could ever repay I found peace there and the love to last the rest of my life!! Thank you so very Much for allowing us to stay in your cottage.. Becky and Butch

Quaint and Peaceful i

40th birthday. It was amazing, peaceful , and beautiful. You can feel all the love and blessings this house has. Plus I saw a shooting star:) All smiles can't wait until the next visit.

Had a wonderful time!!

Me and my Hubby went for our 1 year anniversary ❤️ We had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and finishing up our evening with a fire. It was very relaxing.

Perfect Get-a-way

My wife and I, retired, met with our son and his fiancé for a long week-end. This is a wonderful cottage on the lake with a long view. Quaint yet every room is large enough for gathering together. We loved the sun room with endless windows and thank the decorator for a job well done. We fished, swam, kayaked, had a bon fire and dreamed. The dock provides a perfect way to start or finish any day. Shopping is close by. Quiet, yes it was wonderfully quiet. Pleasant and helpful the owners made us feel at home. We live in North Carolina and will be recommending this piece of heaven to our friends in Florida as a great place for more memories.
