NO elevators: Make sure everyone in your party is able to go up and down steps. This unit is on the 2nd floor.

Note: This is a legal one bedroom condo because of its size and full kitchen, however it does not have a wall and door that separates the bedroom from the living room.

Check in is 3:30PM — Check out is 10:30AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Simple Check in & Great Location

Loved staying here, we could walk to the beach so easily and lots of food options including n really cheap and good tasting food trucks right outside. Easy check in instructions and cleanup instructions.

Penny wise & pound foolish - Stay 2 of 2

Our return to the property on our way back to Australia found that the sink taps had been replaced and the leak fixed. The "amenities" were appalling in quantity per our previous stay - we ended up purchasing our own on the 1st stay and used it for our second stay too.This property would work for a couple staying a night or 2. I would not stay here again as the owner / manager does not provide sufficient basics - soap, shampoo, etc. for a family of 4 to last more than a night, though is happy to charge the exorbitant prices for a few nights stay in Waikiki.

Penny wise & pound foolish - Stay 1 of 2

We stayed at this property twice and this review is for the 1st stay from 29 Dec to 2nd Jan. The "dongle" for the gate to park is found in the lock box attached to the gate. The apartment was absolutely clean and we could smell the pine o clean. We moved the coffee table toward the kitchen to open up the sofa bed for the kids to sleep on. All linen and towels were provided. I tried to reach the property staff regarding hot water in the shower and since it was a Sunday, no one was available. The tap opens in 1 direction only and the further you move it counter-clockwise, the warmer it gets (which is confusing to the average person that would move a tap in 1 direction for cold water and the opposite direction for hot water)Now to the "penny wise & pound foolish" title. On the day of leaving Australia we received the email about toiletries etc. and to our shock found that there was literally 1 finger length tubes of body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, along with a tiny bar of hand soap. Given we were staying for 4 nights and had spent almost US1800 on the stay, I would say this is completely unacceptable for a family of 4. A bar of soap at the groceries cost little over US1. How cheap is the owner?Additionally, there were minor water leaks from the sink taps (that were repaired by the time we returned for our 2nd stay) though the level of "amenities" for a family of 4 were the same.I will not stay here again.

There is an extremely erotic picture of a cartoonish Hawaiian hunk with only a lei covering his member directly next to the bed. This was beyond hilarious and made my entire stay. Was very tempted to just take it and eat the fine.

Condo Close to the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo check in process was very smooth and easy. We received an e-mail and text message with the information a couple days ahead of check in. The condo had everything that was needed for our stay. The beach is about two blocks away. The street the condo is on has many food trucks, the street behind the condo has moped rentals, and there are two abc stores with one block either way of the condo. The Honolulu Zoo is one block over from the condo as well.

Big City Noise

Advantage of free parking. Waikiki is a big city. Probably quieter in downtown Honolulu. The property is what it is, a studio. The kitchen is adequate. BBQ grill operated well. Had a little trouble with the washer not operating completely. If you are claustrophobic this doesn't work. Contruction going the entire time.

Loved it ..the house cleaner was leaving as I arrived..she helped me understand how to check in..I loved the condo...pretty clean could use a lil TLC..but still loved it..Great location...nite time was noisey..WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN!!

Property was clean and well managed and everything went smoothly. Really appreciate the welcome email and text message and it is right along the beach which is perfect for sightseeing and tourist activities. Will definitely recommend and enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

Serviceable but a little tired

The place was fine but a few minor things could be replaced or serviced. Old rusted air conditioner, mangled mini blinds, bathroom fixtures somehow leak onto counter then drip on to the floor.

Wish I Stayed Elsewhere

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but I am sorry to say I would not recommend this VRBO. For this property the cons simply outweigh the pros. PROS - the location is great. It’s close to the beach & on the same street as food trucks. CONS - The pictures of the apartment make it appear bright & clean, but unfortunately I found the apartment to be dingy. I chose the apartment because of the note that it is “professionally sanitized,” but there were scuff marks and dirt all along the walls & baseboards. The bathroom left much to be desired. Some of the window blinds were broken & there were ants crawling out of the AC unit. Security of the apartment was a concern. We were provided fobs to access the front gate, but we often found the gate propped open. We loved staying on the street with the food vendors, but this causes a lot of foot traffic & some unsavory folks hanging around. Despite repeatedly closing the gate, I would find it open again. My biggest complaint was getting locked out on the back porch. I stayed at this VRBO to get ready for my wedding. The night of my wedding, my husband and I went on the back porch & when I closed the door (no screen) it locked automatically and we were trapped. Fortunately, a friend was able to rescue us but after about an hour. We missed plans on our wedding night because of this. I contacted the owners to let them know of this issue & how upset I was. The response did not put me ease it was generic and didn’t address the issue.

Great place to stay

Wonderful spot. Very close to all the shops in Waikiki, the included parking space was perfect. We look forward to our next vacation and would consider this place again

Nice Condo and Just as Listed

This was our first time In Honolulu. We are not “city people” so the crowds and environment were a bit much for me. However, the condo was relatively quiet and felt safe, especially since it had gated access. Just about anything you needed could be found within walking distance, which is good because Honolulu traffic is HORRENDOUS- and since I am from NJ that’s really saying something!!

Review of Property

Property needs a major overhaul in terms of electrical . We were not able to use microwave & watch TV at same time without tripping the circuit breaker. Sink in bathroom was not properly caulked to prevent water from running along back flash. I would stay again because of location and it was clean.

Very Loud

Construction was happening on the balcony over and above our unit during our stay, woke up to jackhammering and sawing every morning at 8:30am. If you are looking for a peaceful stay…..do not stay here. It’s very loud with a bar right behind the property & drunk people yelling and screaming all night. The property was clean as described, but hot water did not last long at all. The second night we had a bit more hot water then the first night but then it went back to hot water for less then five mins in the shower. Let the owners know & no response about it. We couldn’t use the parking stall for two days due to plumbing issues in the building. The owner took a while to get back to us and told us to go pay for parking elsewhere. The title of the add was free parking. We found the communication from the owner to be lacking. If you don’t mind loud noises, drunk neighbours, construction, and very short showers this is a great place. Well appointed little kitchen and the AC and Celine fan were great! We wouldn’t consider staying here again due to the lack of communication, but it is well priced for what you get!!!
