The Oasis is ideally situated for visitors to Sydney – Circular Quay (for the CBD, Rocks & Opera House) is a seven-minute ferry ride away. It is only a two-minute walk to the water or parks (with trees filled with birdsong), cafes and shops.

Your private deck offers views over Sydney Harbour and is an ideal spot at sunset.

The Oasis features a spacious, light-filled room with queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom

Amazing! From start to finish both Neil and Elizabeth were welcoming. Their accomodation is beautiful. Balmain is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived we were enveloped in warmth and welcome. And then we saw the room...a beautiful space with a deck and a view of the harbour. And every need was taken care of - fresh bread for breakfast, home made compote and yogurt, orange juice, coffee....a very lovely neighbourhood of 19th century cottages, plentiful cafes and restaurants and a short ferry ride to the Opera House. You can't ask for more.

Helpful and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast supplied, comfortable beds, clean bathroom with useful items like hairdryer. Location was perfect, safe and quiet with regular and reliable public transport.

Neil was very welcoming and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The accomodation was was ideal for our short stay -in a great position.

Great location, just a block to catch the ferry or bus into the Sydney CBD. Our hosts, Neil, Elizabeth and Poppy were wonderful - friendly, welcoming, easy to communicate with and very gracious. I highly recommend this oasis in the city.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The location is great just 5 min from a ferry to downtown and very close to restaurants, pubs etc. the breakfast and little trays were great! Thank you very much !

Elizabeth and Neil we're very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The B&B was spacious, sorry and had great views with a lovely little balcony too sit with shade of the trees. The location was perfect for us with many ships and restaurants locally and only a short walk to the ferry stop. The buses also ran regularly so all in all it was a great stay.

Great stay in Balmain

Elisabeth and Neil are excellent hosts of a very comfortable, spotlessly clean property in a fantastic location with its own view from the deck - close to ferries, buses, pubs, parks and cafes and with a parking spot.

Brilliant location and great value

We needed somewhere to stay in Balmain and this place was perfect! Neil and Elisabeth were lovely welcoming hosts who ensured we had a great stay. The breakfast was a bonus!

We had a terrific stay with Elisabeth and Neil and would recommend An Oasis for lots of reasons: wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome and who genuinely understand the meaning of hospitality, great location close to restaurants and shops, very comfortable accommodation, and terrific spaces for doggies nearby. We hope to return!

Perfect location. Great hosts. Easy to get to harbor, blue mts and bindi beach in just 3 days. Great personal touches by host!

Loved everything about this stay. The host neil was amazing. The unit was set up with fresh homemade condiments and everything you could think of was there. The views are perfect and access to ferry and buses are a few minutes walk.
