Welcome to Los Nidos 3, a comfortable and well-positioned ground-floor retreat set within a quiet complex of just three units. Perched above the stunning Deadmans Beach and tucked away at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, this unit offers both privacy and convenience in one of the area’s most sought-after locations.

From Los Nidos 3, you’re just a short walk to Cylinder Beach, the Straddie Hotel, shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it an ideal hub for enjoying everything the island has to offer. The complex is surrounded by a pleasant shared garden, creating a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Inside, the fully screened unit features two bedrooms, accommodating a range of guests with one Queen bed, one bunk bed, and one single bed. The screening throughout ensures cooling sea breezes while keeping things comfortable and bug-free.
The outdoor area includes an outdoor setting and BBQ, perfect for casual meals after a day exploring the beaches. Additional conveniences include a TV, automatic washing machine, and lock-up car accommodation for secure parking during your stay.

With its ground-floor access, peaceful setting, and close proximity to beaches and amenities, Los Nidos 3 is a welcoming beachside escape and a perfect place to stay for your island getaway.

The power point in the bathroom has brown burn marks, and I could not plug into it. That is dangerous to have an electrical connection in that state. This place is very tired and needs to come into the 21st century. Parking is very problematic since the rocks are placed strategically to disallow reversing out of the single roller door garage, ( in order to drive out of the driveway front first according to law.) No choice but to not park in the garage and hope there are no car thieves on the island. Front door lock would be an easy pick for any thief.Overall, I am not happy paying top rate for a fourth rate accomodation and demand a full refund immediately. I do do not appreciate dangerous, potentially life threatening, electrical connections lack of true security for ourselves.

Quiet and secluded

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was quite comfortable but some more comfortable lounge chairs would be good. Jug had a ‘burnt’ smell. Bed was comfortable and bed lights were great for reading. Great position near Deadman’s Beach. There were only the two us so plenty of room. Nice and peaceful in a quiet cul de sac.

Great location. Loved the 2 outside decks. Well equipped and spacious unit.

First time to Straddie and we loved the unit & its position. Close to 2 beaches and food shops, buses etc.

Quiet Charm

Well maintained unit close to beach access. Pleasant garden and bird life. Comfy clean and quiet. Excellent value, we will book again.

Enjoyable stay

Overall, this property is in a quiet, good location with just a short walk to Deadman and Cylinder beach, and is near to shops, cafes and the main beach. Although it is aging It was clean and comfortable. Our adult son had to pull the mattress in the spare room onto the floor because the bed wasn't great and checkin could mention entry through the back door. We found this property was good value for money considering the high prices of other rentals.

This property has a fantastic location and well equipped with everything you may need. Located in a nice quiet street with only a short walk to Deadman’s Beach and Cylinder Beach. For what you have to pay I would have expected a more modern/updated offering. Unit us dated, beds in second bedroom are uncomfortable, garage is tight fit for a modern vehicle. Location is convenient but no sea views Will look elsewhere next time This was a last- minute booking so maybe all the nicer and better value places were gone

My two sons and loved this place. This property is exactly as described on the tin. Close to everything you need for a great holiday. Everything it has works. It has no air-conditioning, but this is Straddie. Open the shutter windows, turn on the fans and use the natural ocean breeze. It was hot and humid during our stay. So why no 5 stars? The garage was too small for our Ford Ranger but there was plenty of parking on the street. The TV has wonky reception which can be easily fixed by twiddling with the aerial into the TV. It keeps recurring but is easily fixed each time. Renovations on another unit meant we needed to keep the blinds shut on one side of the unit. But the biggest drawback is the house next door called "Reflections at Point Lookout". It is quite the party house. It accommodates "12" but my estimate was several times higher at the height of the party. The music was good and it eventually settled down at a sort of reasonable hour (Would not be great for small children - language/lateness/loudness). This unit would be perfect outside of the summer months for your North Stradbroke adventure.

Would have been great years ago!

It was difficult to work out which was our unit, the don’t have numbers and it was an old school layout. The whole place smelt so musty, had to open all doors and windows to get some fresh air. The couch is outdoor furniture and small so we couldn’t really relax on it … which was fine I guess as there was no smart tv or internet anyway! The place was tidy, but I was pretty disappointed otherwise. We did have a resident kangaroo that the girls got a kick out of.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and because it is a downstairs apartment it is ideally suited for holidaying with young kids. The staff at Ray White are excellent and extremely helpful and professional. The downside to this vacation rental is the furniture and mattresses are uncomfortable. Especially the single beds in the second bedroom. The fridge is also terrible. We brought a camping fridge because if there is anything more than basics in the fridge it barely works. This makes it really challenging when you are traveling as a family and try to bring most of your food with you from the mainland to last a week or more. A new bigger fridge and some comfortable lounge chairs in this holiday rental would make a huge difference to the comfort of guests.

Lots of breeze with all the screened windows and doors. Has the basics in the kitchen. New lounge but is still not particularly comfortable sadly. However we were out and about enjoying the island so didn’t worry us to much. Main bed was very comfortable. Will return.Had a bit of an issue with the keys on check in but was all sorted soon enough.

An enjoyable short stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first visit to North Stradbroke Island so I was "finding my feet" on the Island. Los Nidos Unit 3 was the perfect place to explore Point Lookout - to walk along the headland or along the beach (tide allowing) to Deadmans Beach, Cylinder Beach (a patrolled beach), the Gorge, the Hotel and the local shops. I was there when the whales were swimming south, close inshore, with their calves - so whale watching was also on my agenda from the perfect vantage point, the grassed seating area above Deadmans Beach.Unit 3 was as described and as expected - appropriate for its price range, clean and tidy, supplied as described plus quality, well laundered sheets. My only comment would be that I missed having a dishwasher but that is really a minor inconvenience.I suppose you could be disappointed with Los Nidos Unit 3 if you expected expansive ocean views from the Unit but the consolation was that a hop, step and jump down the hill was the full outdoor experience - wonderful views and expansive walking tracks. I would recommend Los Nidos 3 to friends.
