Lovely cottage with a fire. Close to Blackheath but very quiet and looking onto the bush. Very comfortable and clean. A very relaxing stay.

Wonderful accomodation!

We really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was wonderful, the hosts were very helpful, the location was really useful for sightseeing and the environment was beautiful. A very nice place to visit to relax and decompress.

A clean, lovely, cosy place for a family of four. The location of this property is perfect to access all the spectacular hiking trails, in Blackheath, e.g., the Grand Canyon track, Govetts Leap lookout, Bridal Veil waterfall, etc. It was also a short drive to Hydro Majestic, and the Scenic World. We have also enjoyed using the fireplace whilst we were there, which was very handy and welcomed during winter.

Beautiful area and comfortable stay

We had a great stay at this property. The bathroom has a lovely bathtub with a view of the bush. The kids loved the garden and even saw a few kangaroos.

Family Getaway

Great location - feels like you are in the bush, but you are only minutes away from shops, cafes, restaurants and easy access to some awesome bush walking tracks. Ideal place for a family or 2 couples.

Lovely cottage nestled in a quiet bush setting that is only a short drive to Blackheath shops, restaurants and pubs. Gorgeous outlook from back deck. Highlight was a relaxing bath with a tranquil bush view!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & having the outdoor space facing onto the bush was lovely. Beds extremely comfortable & plenty of kitchen supplies which were very helpful. Cosy cottage but with room to move.

Gumnut cottage

Lovely little cottage just outside Blackheath. Great for a small group of friends or family. Nearby hikes are amazing. Definitely worth the visit

Beautiful charming home

We loved having the fireplace and the bathtub overlooking the bush, the outdoor deck for breakfasts in the sun was also stunning. We found this home had all that we needed and a lovely atmosphere inside and out. The hank you!

Blackheath family stay

This property is unique in terms of its location at the edge of the beautiful Blue Mountains NP. We were greeted by a group of resident Rosellas and really enjoyed the peaceful surrounds. The cottage is well equipped and the host was very prompt and helpful with our queries ahead of arrival - a great stay!!

Cozy cottage in quiet bush setting

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Gumnut Cottage in the last week of August. The cottage is very cozy and set in a very quiet street with beautiful bush surrounding the property. It was quite cold and windy so it was really nice to come back and be able to relax in front of the fire each evening. The owners were easy to deal with and responded to any queries very promptly. I would highly recommend this property. Blackheath is our favourite place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains.
