Tucked just outside Medicine Park, this cozy retreat offers quick access to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, hiking trails, and mountain biking—perfect for a peaceful getaway with plenty to explore nearby.

Local Update: The Medicine Park dam is currently undergoing repairs, which is affecting water levels in the Gondola area directly in front of the home. Other nearby areas, including Bath Lake and Lake Lawtonka, are not affected. Guests continue to enjoy the quiet setting, outdoor access, and proximity to the Refuge just minutes away. Feel free to reach out if you’d like current details on the area.

Nice house, private and restful. Spacious bathroom and living area and comfortable bed. We were able to use the tv easily along with the air conditioning. The snack basket was a nice suprise. The screened in back porch was very nice. I only wish we were able to see Kevin Bacon, but we enjoyed the chickens! Recommend this place!

The cabin was clean and spacious. The pictures of the inside do not do it justice! It is gorgeous! The view out of every window is amazing. The host is very friendly and helpful. We loved this place!

My husband and I were so happy to have a few relaxing days in the mountains of Oklahoma ! The home was warm and inviting ! The hosts were lovely - leaving fresh muffins on our doorstep ! Everything was perfect !

Lovely home, with everything we needed for a quick getaway! We were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and the sweet host prepared a delicious banana bread and left it warm at the front door! Even gave us the baking dish, because it was about the era of our marriage wonderful stay and highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your home with us

The space is well laid out, beautifully done, and absolutely clean. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our needs. We couldn't have had a better experience.

Kitchen was very well stocked, as was the bathroom. Everything was very clean and easy to find. The little extras like the welcome basket and fresh eggs was very thoughtful. It was a very restful and enjoyable trip. Medicine Park is a delightful little town and the book provided by the host of the town's history was so insightful. Great little weekend trip!
