Great stay

The location and neighborhood were great. Close to grocery and a few restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

Terrific location with private beach. Very quiet the week we were there as things just opening for the season. Listing was accurate and great to sit on deck and listen to the waves crashing.

Excellent family reunion site

This property had everything we were looking for & did not disappoint. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all family units to have their own space, a table big enough to seat all of us for meals, comfortable common areas for lounging, multiple decks with fabulous views, a pool, & a beautiful private beach. The entire family was unanimous in wanting to stay here again.

The best beach trip we’ve ever had!

This was the best beach trip my family has ever gone on! The house was amazing. The location is amazing. The pool and hot tub were so nice. Everything was so clean. Already wanting to book for next year!

Very Nice Stay

Property was as advertised. Location is great and in quiet neighborhood. Beach is awesome. House is a bit dated, and the beds are too soft. Overall, a nice place for our family.

We are so glad that our house provided a nice stay! A note on the beds - these are all new within the past few years and we have received compliments on how comfortable they are. I think that the comfort level on the firmness of beds varies a lot per person. We try to get mattresses with a medium amount of firmness and pillow tops to please as many renters as possible.

Working with the property manager was wonderful. They were quick to respond to my questions and special needs.The property lies between two public access beach spots so we had plenty of beach to ourselves with our private walkway. Wonderful. We will come here again

Excellent House and Amenities on Whalehead Beach

The house was large and had accommodations and bathrooms for hosting a good sized party. We went in the off season and were grateful to have early check in and the hot tub up and running per our request. Easy check in and good communication throughout the process. Would recommend to those wanting to stay on the Outer Banks.

Awesome beach house with a beautiful views

We had a great time with our two families. The house is beautifully equipped right on the ocean. Plenty of things to do, the pool and hot tub were great and the beach was superb. Thank you so much.

Wonderful house!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house! It was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Loved the view from the house and the dune deck. We were impressed by the responsiveness of the rental company when we reported a couple of minor issues.

Best value

This home met all our needs and more. The view from the top floor was gorgeous and everything in the home was in great condition. We traveled with 8 kids aged nine and under and they had a blast. Easy walk to the beach, pool in great condition and the game room was a big hit. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect spot for a group getaway!

We loved this house! The space was exactly what we needed and having the pool / hot tub were great amenities for our group. Loved having 2 washer/dryer with a big group plus a baby. Our favorite thing about this rental was hands down the beach. Quiet, wide open, and not crowded at all! Felt almost private 😊 hope to come back again!

Good location

The property is a little worn, but clean. The location, beach, pool, and hotub are great and the kids had fun with pool, bumper pool, and foosball the day it rained. The property is between two public access points, so the beach is less crowded than at other locations. It is a good property to go to if you have kids and/or pets.

We love the location of this house! Because it is half way between the two public beach access points, it can feel like your own private slice of paradise. Plus, being ocean front, it is so easy to run back in for a snack or bathroom break!

Great location!

This house is in a great location! We basically had our own private beach! The kids had a great time! Very kid friendly with an added bonus of a highchair for my daughter. ( I forgot her booster seat for the chair so we were very happy to see the highchair!) Thank you again! Looking forward to staying again!

Fantastic time!

Close to everything! Great restaurants, shops activities. The home was perfect for our family of 9 adults and a 1 year old. We had plenty of room to spread out. Clean and comfortable. Don’t worry about dragging your beach chairs, their were plenty in the 1st floor closet. We will definitely recommend the Cape Coral to others and hope to be back soon!

Fun beach home for large gathering

We had a delightful extended family gathering in this home over Thanksgiving week, with 15 of us comfortably fitting in this home. Great location on a gorgeous stretch of OBX beach. Fun hot tub. A minor detraction was that the house was not particularly well supplied with certain kitchen items (forks, food containers, bowls). Would happily return though.

Family fun

We had a great time. Lots of space. Views are amazing. Bedrooms comfortable. Hot tub and pool terrific. Stingy w bath towels—I recommend bringing extra. And no beach towels provided at all. Neither the floors nor the pool were tots clean when we got there, but it is the beach, so.... we’d come again.

We are glad that your family enjoyed the house and the amazing views! We try to make the house as nice and comfortable for all of our guests as possible. As such, we do provide bed linens, beds are made prior to arrival, and we supply 16 bath towel sets (bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth). Anything else does need to either be brought from home or rented from one of the many great rental companies that will rent almost anything that you can imagine and deliver it to the house for your vacation. Thanks again for the great review and we hope to welcome your family back to the beach again soon!

House is Awesome!

The pictures accurately reflect the house except for one thing; the beach is much closer than it appears! The house was clean, the kitchen is well stocked. And though the listing says there aren’t any beach or pool items provided, the first floor closet is full of boards, floaters, sand toys, and chairs. There are also now 2 infant flotation devices. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you could need in the perfect location!

We kept watching all the people staying in the houses across the street lugging all their beach gear down the street everyday to the periodic beach access points and were so glad we had our own private access to the beach! Also, our part of the beach was less crowded the areas by the public access points which was nice. The pool and the hot tub were also nice to use when a break from the ocean was needed. Although the house was a little outdated on the inside, we didn’t spend too much time inside! Even if we had to there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out!

Sunrise through to Sunset -- the perfect house.

Fantastic house. The different age groups were able to gather in the evening in different spots for movies, games, puzzles. Open floor plan up top meant meal prep didn't cut you out of the loop. The access to the beach can't be beat. Being in the middle of the block = so much space to play! Rainy days spent with foosball and pool table in basement were easygoing sun recuperation days. We had a blast.

Perfect for our Family

The location and house was perfect for our family. We had such a great time. I had thought we would use the game room however being that close to the ocean, we spent our time exploring the beach, city and enjoyed meals together in dining area. The space was great when we needed to spread out and have down time. Lots of beach items to use. Beautiful and perfect location in the middle of the public access to beaches so it was not over crowded. Watching the sunrise from bed was amazing. Prior to arrival, the hosts were extremely fast at responding to our questions.

Great Family Vacation in Corolla NC

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was spacious with enough room for us to have our own quiet space and also offered many areas for us to gather as a family. House is right on the beach - views are amazing - saw dolphins every day! All of us spent countless hours enjoying the beach, walking, biking, reading or splashing in the waves. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all aa well as the pool table and foosball table on the bottom floor. As many other reviewers have stated this house is not the biggest or the shiniest house on the beach but it was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed to make our vacation a great week for everyone.
