South 40 Lodge: Central Ks Lodging With Amazing Views & Sounds Of The Country

Located just 10 miles east of Salina, Ks on 40 acres in tranquil setting of eastern Saline Co. The lodge has a king size master suite with fireplace & sat TV, queen size bedroom and one full size bunkbed (2 full size mattresses) plus 2 full baths. Spacious kitchen with all appliances and bar that seats 4, plus huge dining/meeting table that seats 10, adjacent to a comfortable living area with fireplace, 75" sat TV and complimentary WiFi. Perfect for a business or small group retreat, family reunion, or just to get away vs commercial lodging. Enjoy the hilltop scenic views from the walking path around the 40 acres of native grass, or relax and watch the sunrises/sunsets from the rocking chairs on the large covered porch. Be sure to check out the video for an aerial view of the property and the amazing views of the South 40 Lodge! A virtual tour video link is also available under the owner info tab.

Now there is the option to rent an existing 30x40 enclosed insulated shed on the property for small birthday, graduation or family reunion. Tables and chairs provided. Available only from May 1st through Sept 15th. Contact me for more details.

Absolutely beautiful property. Owner lives closeby and made us all feel very welcome. Thoughtful finishing touchs let us know they truly cared. Huge yard and fields for the dogs to enjoy being dogs, pool table in the garage made for wonderful family time fun, as did the puzzles and board games in the cabinet. Kitchen was well stocked with all the things you could need to make wonderful meals with the family. This felt like home away from home. Thank you again for such wonderful accommodations. We had a great time enjoying each others company.

Family Reunion Weekend

The South 40 Lodge was just the right quiet place to gather our family together for a reunion weekend. The lodge is very comfortable and well appointed with plenty of room to spread out and enough space to also entertain guests. Ritchie has a really nice property to stay in the peaceful central Kansas countryside.

We absolutely LOVED our experience at the South 40 Lodge! Lots of room inside for a sit down dinner, games, etc. More than enough space outside for the kiddos to hunt Easter Eggs and run out some energy! Very comfy beds, kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we checked in to the morning we left, this property amazed us. All the furnishings were in excellent shape from the sofa to the comfortable beds to the well appointed kitchen and dining room. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Then there was the huge porch and rocking chairs looking out at the beautiful Kansas countryside. It was absolutely serene. We loved this property!
