Great spot. Awesome views, nestled right in the bush. The driveway is much more manageable than other reviews make it out to be, best suited to small car though. We’ll be back!

All ok , would recommend checking if car is suitable for driveway And remember no wifi or tv but a buitiful view to look at instede

a Bach with a view

magnificent location let down by missing or defective amenities naturally beautiful outlook but property had an air of neglect

Overall the property was clean and comfortable

Overall the property was clean and comfortable. We loved the space upstairs and the large bay window with mattresses. Our 4yr old daughter found the pullout bed downstairs quite comfortable. Great location but quite busy between Xmas and New Years, as we’d expected. Beautiful places to explore nearby.

Very nice and romantic couples retreat.

Very nice and romantic couples retreat. As noted on the website previously- access and parking difficult. Electrical circuits in bathroom and kitchen could do with upgrade/improvement - but overall would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a great time in Tairua, with a big part of the experience being our stay at Paku Escape.

We had a great time in Tairua, with a big part of the experience being our stay at Paku Escape. The location is quiet, private, a short drive from central Tairua and has amazing views, especially as the sun sets!! The property is comfortable, well equipped and affordable. We look forward to our next stay!

Great location but Bach is dirty.

Great location but Bach is dirty. Shower sink toilet a bit yuck and kitchen cooking facilities poor. Bed uncomfortable no reading lamp or bed side table, covers falling off window seat bbq unusable as right side so rusted, no gas in bbq though our Bach care person got some for us and a sink plug. Place needs better furniture as couch bed no good to sit or lie on.

Thank you for your feedback. This property is a classic kiwi bach which the photos & price reflect, and as below we have not had any negative feedback about the facilities in the past. We have talked with the holiday manager about the cleanliness of the property and will ensure that more thorough cleans and checks are done of the property after each stay. The property was well located, reasonably close to town and with a wonderful view.

The property was well located, reasonably close to town and with a wonderful view. We had some minor issues with the microwave timer and power surges flicking the fuses - but both of those are perfectly normal in a bach - and otherwise it was very well equipped!
