Imagine this.....wake up from a great nights sleep in a king size bed with down comforter and pillows to a beautiful morning of fresh snow. Take the elevator down and step a few feet across to Starbucks for your morning coffee to start the day. Cook a quick breakfast in our fully equipped kitchen or grab a great breakfast downstairs at New York Deli. After breakfast, take the elevator down to your own private ski locker and step outside to the gondola located here in the Village. Then, after your epic day on the mountain, take the ski back trail right down to the Village and enter the building to your ski locker. Take the elevator upstairs and now it's hot tub time! Put on your swimsuit, grab a robe and go relax! Come back to the condo for a quick shower and now it's time to choose a place to have dinner from the many wonderful options right here in the Village. After dinner, go grab a nice bottle of wine from the Village Market and either relax on our 4th floor balcony watching the people walk by, watch a movie on our flat screen TV, or if you're up for a party, check out Lakanuki or Kitchen 53 in the Village and dance the night away! So many options for fun...so little time!!

Staying in the Village at Mammoth is a remarkable experience that we have no doubt you will love and create amazing memories! We are close to everything...restaurants, shopping, gondola, hot tub, outdoor heated pool, fitness center...you name it, we've got it! In fact, you can park your car in our heated parking structure and not have to go back to it until you go home. That's an especially nice perk in the winter when the roads can become icy.

Stay in Mammoth

Location is everything to me when picking a place to stay for a ski trip and this place was great! It's right in the heart of the village and a 3 minute walk to the village gondola, which takes you to the base of the mountain. This means that no shuttles or driving is required to get to the mountain for a day of skiing. Also the host was very responsive, and the condo was cozy and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient, clean, and cozy.

Everything was as expected and as advertised. The only note I’d make for future guests’ awareness is that the unit is above a restaurant and bar and it can get noisy later than desired (particularly if you crack a window). It wasn’t terrible and we obviously still gave 5 stars.

Loved our trip.

Amazing location in the village right across the street from the red line. Host was responsive, helpful, and friendly. Extra plus for the underground parking since it snowed during our stay and we did not have to dig our car out.

Comfortable and nice Village condo

This one bedroom condo was perfect for some early season skiing, a short drive up to the Main Lodge, and with the convenience of having restaurants and stores nearby. There was plenty of parking near the elevator and the room is close to the elevator as well. The bed was quite comfortable, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The unit is nicely decorated with wall art by local photographers. The owner Chris was very helpful and accommodating and even called me about a minor issue with the fireplace. Highly recommended.

Small Village 1BR Unit

We’ve stayed at several properties at Mammoth. This was nicely furnished. This unit is located in the older “White Mountain Lodge. PROs: Great bed. New appliances. Nice Bathroom towels. CONs: Small living room. Small bedroom, extremely limited storage space. Small bathroom. No bathrobes to get to jacuzzi. Note: this building is further away from Pool and Jacuzzi area. No portable luggage rack (very needed when there is no dresser for storage.

Air conditioning listing innacurate

We knew it was gonna be hot this week so we specifically looked for a spot with AC. There is a portable AC unit with no exhaust vent hose.......these only work if you can run the hot air out of a window. Plus we couldn't open the door on the deck because there was a hornets nest outside. We would come back in the evening and it would be like an oven in the condo. 99% of the time, this isnt an issue in mammoth, but it was in the 90s this week. Aside from that issue, everything else was nice.

Great Place in The Village

Everything was just as listed. The facility is nice and walking distance to numerous restaurants and the Gondola. We didn't even use our car the entire time. The only insider tip I would give is bring you own pillows. The bed pillows were like pancakes.

Extremely convenient. Close to coffee, bagels, restaurants, shuttle to mountain. Well appointed, full kitchen if one wanted to cook( we didn’t). Highly recomm

Great location, good value

This condo is simple and basic. It was clean and in a great location. Television and internet worked well. The bed was very comfortable. My only suggestions would be to install grab bars in the tub/shower (it is a very deep shower) and to have a small step ladder/stool in the unit. The cabinets in the kitchen were quite high and I (5’1”) couldn’t reach many items. Also, it would be nice to stock coffee filters and some coffee.

Cozy little place for couple

Love this condo. Right in the plaza of the Mammoth Village gondola. Owner is very responsive. Little confusion at booking due to Vrbo sending me 2 different property IDs for the same property. A little issue, not with the owner, with the building management was the maintenance team came to fix some thing in the building. They dropped/left quite a few screws in the parking garage. I picked up a few at my parking spot when I got back one afternoon. Not sure how many cars would get some in their tires.

Hi there...we would like to welcome you to our place in the mountains! Our names are Chris and Maria Hansen. We live in Orange County, CA but have always been in love with Mammoth! We enjoy the outdoors in all of the seasons...skiing in winter, hiking and biking in the spring/summer/fall months. Chris has been coming here since he was a child, having grown up in Orange County. Maria moved to California in 1990 from Texas to pursue her dance career. We come here fairly often and hate to leave! We have a four legged member of a family...a Doberman named Nika, who we rescued from the Orange County shelter in 2010. She loves it in Mammoth! We hope you enjoy our home away from home!

Ski In/Ski out is a big perk in the winter and in the summer, we love to be close to all the activities, festivals and dining. Being on the top floor is especially nice as Maria loves to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and people watch! Mammoth is a very special place for us, in all seasons and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!
