Come experience some peace and quiet in our newly built one bedroom unit. Enjoy the beautiful new LVP floors, granite countertops in kitchen and bath, stainless steal appliances, comfortable furniture and beds, and secluded covered deck. Staying in this space feels like you're living in a treehouse due to the wooded, secluded surroundings. Guest maximum is 4, 2 in bedroom and 2 in living room on a pull-out queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. We also allow pets, with an additional $50 pet fee charged. Walk our lovely neighborhood and easily walk or drive into downtown White Salmon and visit wonderful restaurants, the brew pub, natural food market, new bakery, coffee spots and remodeled grocery store. 12 minute drive to Hood River and 65 minutes to PDX. And don't forget to bring your outdoor toys to enjoy all the recreational opportunities the Gorge has to offer. We also own and rent a large, 3 bedroom, 5 bed, 2.5 bath house with hot tub, sauna and unparalleled view that may be available if you have a large group. Great little spot

The property was nice, clean and had a great view of the gorge. Perfect spot to stay while in town for a wedding. A little smaller than expected but worked out for our group.

Nice Time at Hood River

We enjoyed our stay. The property was cozy, there was no yard and parking was next to the road. There was a nice view of Mt Hood from the road.

Treetop Getaway

We stayed 2 nights here. This VRBO was comfortable and as described. There is a lovely river view from the bedroom and a very nice covered porch at the entry. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. He offered early check in and late check out, which was lovely. We accidentally took one of his towels and he made it easy to plan for how we could make it right.

Wonderful quiet stay in White Salmon. Location was perfect, on top of a hill over looking the river. Unit is on top of a detached garage. Feels very private. Very clean, had everything we needed and more. Thank you!!

A Very Nice Condo! Great Location

We had a very nice White Salmon/Hood River weekend with this condo being home base. My only regret is the beautiful view was behind us. Not accessible from our outside area. We did have a nice garden to enjoy while sitting outside.

4 weeks in White Salmon

We were very comfortable in the VRBO. It felt like a treehouse with trees all around and a view into them. It was quiet! We took advantage of downtown White Salmon some evenings, or cooked at home. We had everything we needed, and Mike was very gracious about checking in to see that all was well. We would definitely stay there again.

Just Perfect

We had such a wonderful time. We were in town for a wedding and chose to stay here and we are so glad we did! This home was immaculate and allowed us to truly relax. The bed was as comfy as our bed at home. Michael was also wonderfully kind and allowed us to check in early before the rehearsal dinner. Nothing about this unit felt like a rental - it just felt like home.

Great bungalow in a wonderful location!

We were in the Hood River area for the weekend, and this rental was perfect for our needs. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location on the bluff, close to downtown White Salmon and just a short drive to Hood River. It seemed bigger than 400 square feet; there was plenty of space for three adults and two dogs. We mistakenly left a couple of items at the house and the owner was kind enough to locate them and mail them to me at no charge. So nice!

Amazing location!

The view from the street where this place is located is amazing. I couldn't believe that I could see the beautiful Colombia River Gorge and Mount Hood from the same place. Wow! Stunning! Our host was super kind and we had everything we needed. Would come back in a heart beat. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Gorge Getaway

Overall very nice. A couple of cleaning issues.....not sure how long prior to our arrival it was occupied but there were cob webs in the sink. Also some coffee mugs and plates were not clean....given,Covid..that was a downer...but we washed them thoroughly....very cool area to walk...would return!

Small, but nice

The apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable, and White Salmon is a lovely little town. The neighborhood is quiet and has nice views of the river and gorge. The rental is essentially the size of a studio apartment, so the four person rating seems a bit ambitious, and the apartment really has no view unless you stand in a tiny corner of the bedroom. Regardless, it was comfortable and warm for a distanced COVID getaway.

White Salmon Gem

We're frequent visitors to the Hood River area who've recently become enamored with White Salmon. Of course for its relative quiet compared to the chaos of Hood River, but also for the cool town itself and the easy access to not only Hood River, but also the beauty found on the less-visited north side of the Columbia. And staying at this place only further cemented our belief that White Salmon is the place to stay when visiting the area. The apartment is very clean, well stocked, an easy one mile walk to the town center, and as a bonus is also pet friendly for those who wish to travel with their pets. Even though we were travelling with our young dog, we'd absolutely stay here if we weren't. And that's not always the case with pet friendly places to stay. The owners are very accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome while still providing us privacy. We will definitely return.

Cute little place, with amazing views

We stayed at Michaels place during our trip through White Salmon. The casita is small unite above their garage. The owner lives on the property next to the unit. The unit has a small living room and kitchen that is well stocked with the basics. Simple breakfast and dinner can be made. The shower door is unique but nothing you can't get used to quickly. The property sits above the town of White Salmon and is about a 5 minute drive down to the main street area. The town is very cute and quant and has plenty to offer. The views from the local street has amazing views of Mt Hood on a clear day and is very quiet in the evening. One note on the unit, is while it state there is an AC unit inside the rental its in the living room area and a small desk fan is used in the bedroom for ventilation as well as the large windows. Not a deal breaker, but on a hot summer evening could be an issue. Would recommend for future renters

Lovely stay above the Gorge

Had a very comfortable and enjoyable few days here in July. The apartment is a good size, is comfortable and has everything that we needed for the duration of the stay. Michael was a great host and it was lovely to be able to chat with him when we arrived. The view from the bedroom window is also pretty spectacular.
