The quaint mountain home sits at 8,500 feet between Angel Fire Resort's beautiful Championship 18 hole golf course and Country Club and the Resort's trout filled Monte Verde Lake. Enjoy the fantastic and relaxing views of the mountain scenery while enjoying the commonly crossing game animals from the comfort of the 400+ square foot deck while eating on the picnic table on the deck. (Deck also has a gate to secure small children while you enjoy the fresh mountain air with the kitchen door open to allow open access from the cabin onto the porch). The cabin has full amenities to play and enjoy for all, including flat screen TV's in all bedrooms, xbox gaming console, telephone and fast internet wi-fi connectivity.
Functionally, the 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has full amenities including an in sink-erator, microwave, coffee maker, glass top stove, dish washer, clothes washer and dryer as well as heated toilet seats/bidet's in the restrooms. Eight plus can enjoy the home in comfort. Each nicely decorated bedroom has a queen bed and individually controllable ac/heater with their own separate thermostat for the ultimate in comfort.
For those who must conduct some business while at the Cabin, a multi-function printer/copier/fax machine also awaits your needs.

Located approximately two miles from the town center and base of the ski mountain area, the Resort's ski base can easily be accessed from your own vehicle.

This cabin was very well laid out and in a pretty settings in the aspen trees, we saw deer ,elk & a black bear nice kitchen with appliances the deck was awesome with chairs fire pit and grill ! The living room furniture was comfy and nice dining table and chairs , the beds were nice , the bathrooms were a little small and tight squeeze on toilets , loved the bidet ! We had a wonderful time with our family !

The pictures don't do this cabin justice! This was the perfect place to stay for a few days' escape from the heat. The well-appointed and extremely well-supplied home away from home was all we could've hoped. We spent our time on the porch and hiking the trail that is steps away from the cabin. We definitely plan to return!

Nice location with an awesome deck to watch the deer, elk, chipmunks and bunnies. Propane fire pit was perfect for making smore's. Kitchen was well equiped.. Beds were comfortable and the girls loved the heated toilet seat. This was our second time here and will likely return next year.

The cabin was exactly as described and everything was spotless. The host said not to overpack because the cabin was well stocked, and he wasn't kidding. The location was beautiful. It started snowing a few hours after we arrived, so it was even prettier. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was luxury living in the woods. The cabin was clean, modern, and had everything we needed plus more. The deer came right up to the porch. We loved our stay there!

Awesome place to stay with plenty of room. Really enjoyed the deck warm enough to grill steaks in February. Host was extremely helpful. Had small issue with tv and he reached out promptly and helped us resolve the issue! Will be staying again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Cabin had everything we needed and the location was beautiful. We saw turkey, deer and even 2 female Elk while sitting on the deck. Convenient to Monte Verde Lake and town. Look forward to staying again next summer.

Perfect base for exploring the local area. Great hiking trail head right out front door. Deer, turkeys, bobcats, elk, magpie and stellar jays visit the property. 4 bedrooms accommodate 8 adults easily and kitchen is well equipped.

THe cabin was well stocked with kitchen appliances, silverware, glasses etc, and a well stocked laundry room to support a family of five, plenty of parking, grill, outdoor fire heater, TV, Xbox and much much more. We've spent 20 years staying at great destination locations, and this cabin, the owners and its well stocked and comfortable attributes at at the top of our experience. Plety of blankets, pillows, lighting, indoor/outdoor space, and HVAC needs were well met!! We highly recommend the location and cabin, and the owner was great to work with!!!

I generally prefer to leave positive reviews, and I appreciate the cabin’s location and potential. However, our stay included several avoidable issues that future renters may want to consider: delayed check-in without advance notice, unfinished housekeeping tasks, difficult-to-use smart-home features and appliances, stained light carpeting, and a few power outages that affected our final night. Rather than focus only on the frustrations, I wanted to share a few practical suggestions that could make the experience smoother for future guests.--If the cabin is not ready by the stated check-in time, a quick message with an updated arrival time would be courteous and appreciated.--While smart-home features can be convenient, guests rent a cabin primarily for the location and the activities nearby. Clear, reliable manual controls for lights, fans, and appliances would make the stay more comfortable for guests of all ages and technical abilities.--Light-colored carpeting can be difficult to maintain in a rental property with frequent guests. More durable, easy-to-clean flooring—or more frequent carpet cleaning—would improve the overall impression of the cabin.--If power outages are common in the area, a backup generator or clearer outage guidance would be a worthwhile improvement.--If guests are expected to take trash to community dumpsters, a simple map or correct directions would be very helpful.

I take great pride in how I maintain the property and how guest are treated and I am offended by this review. The renter stayed at the property on a holiday weekend and had to wait for the cleaning crew to finish cleaning for 10 minutes and the towels were finishing the dry cycle in the dryer. Any electrical outage that may have occurred is totally out of my control as is any manager and to suggest the place should have had a generator really says it all about the pickiness of this renter. My many other five star reviews speaks for itself about this cabin and how I maintain the property and treat the renters. Some people are just never happy about anything.

Very nice and clean

We really enjoyed this property. The bedrooms were a little small but very well set up and comfy. The matresses were comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen was well furnished. Plenty of room in the living area and dining area. We'd for sure stay here again.

Perfect Spot

I could not have asked for a better location. View of the aspen trees and wildlife were amazing. House has tons of room and is super upgraded with modern technology. Communication from the owner was spot on and a helpful tip sheet on the counter was awesome. This place is Awesome! Can't wait to come back.

Perfect Vacation

We will be back! The house was amazing! Better than we expected with extra amenities. We have three boys and there was plenty of room to run around inside and out! The owner responded immediately throughout the booking process and during our stay if needed! Thank you! I will definitely stay here again!
