Upon arrival the house was very clean and inviting. The furniture was very comfortable especially the bed. We loved the deck space , watching the birds. The front porch was a great spot to sit and rock. The deer visited every day. The property was very convenient to grocery store and downtown yet very relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved our time here and look forward to returning soon.

5/5 Stars – An Unforgettable North Carolina Getaway!We had an absolute blast during our stay! The house was immaculate upon arrival, and the views were nothing short of breathtaking. We really appreciated all the extra supplies provided to keep everyone entertained—it was such a thoughtful touch that kept boredom completely at bay.The highlight for our family was definitely the wildlife! We saw deer, raccoons, and even a pair of skunks wandering around. My daughter was mostly impressed by the bird houses and feeders on the back porch. She loves wild birds (she works at a wild bird store). She enjoyed watching the mom and dad feeding the babies in the bird house.Best of all, my kids got to see fireflies for the very first time, which made the trip truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would love to return!

Great parking spaces. Deer every day to watch from inside. Nice charcoal grill. Plenty of comfortable seating around the TV and a nice woodstove.

Joe and Jill’s adventures in Franklin

This is a beautiful home. Plenty of space. Close enough to Franklin to go into town and not feel like you have been in the car all day. We will stay here again.

Our favorite VRBO

This is our 2nd or 3rd time we have stayed here. We absolutely love this place. It feels just like home when we walk in the door. The location is close to family and friends nearby and also close to anything we want to do on our visits. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully this house is available.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our short stay in this spacious, comfortable and lovely home. The kitchen had an abundance of cookware, silverware and cookware. It also had all the appliances necessary for an extended stay.The location was close to Franklin and easy to get to restaurants and shopping.Would definitely stay there again!

Adorable getaway

Cute, comfortable, great kitchen and beautiful view! Really enjoyed your house, only wish you had some heat strips, or something to help out on the really cold days. We would definitely return to this lovely place.

Wonderful experience

This property met or exceeded all expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with good quality utensils. Overall the house was awesome, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended.

Great stay again

This is our third time staying here and we look forward to coming back again soon. Carolyn is accommodating as always. Love the view out back with deer in the yard every day and lots of birds, including hummingbirds. We'lll be back.

Quiet, comfortable and large mountain home

Great kitchen with clean, well working appliances. Wonderful flow to the house., Nice large hottub in the bathroom with plenty of hot water. This was my fourth time renting here. it feels like home

Great country retreat

The house was wonderful and quiet. We saw a family of deer the first night. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of cookware. We brought our two dogs and found a great park for a walk. The towns people were friendly and the overall spirit of the town was loving and family oriented. We would definitely live to stay again. Thank you.

Franklin

We stay at this property as often as possible. Lovely place and perfect for us. Always clean and neat. Feels like home. Beyond well Equipped kitchen. We always put corn out for the deer and enjoy their visits. We can’t wait until our next visit. Only thing better would be owning it ourselves.
